MAC ~FROU~ Lipstick

I consider FROU a creamy Matt nude look lipstick. I really love the nudey aspect of this lipstick. However I must wear a lipgloss over it. Which could be a good thing for someone who needs to tone down a seriously Bam in you face bright lip gloss. I "accidentally made up" this look by putting on FROU, not really feeling enough color, so I put over it a bright pink lip gloss one time and a bright peachy lip gloss another time. It turn out to be a very versital, yummy tasting must have MAC lipstick. I know this would be a great color combination on anyone WITHOUT a Crazy dark fake n bake spray tan. FROU is a good look on a medium skin tone Neutral lined lip, followed up with just your favorite gloss. Mmmmm sexy.

I bought this because I was new to Pinterest and saw a pin that said "This shade flatters everyone". Now, I know better not to trust everything I read on there! I have rosy, fair skin and this completely washes me out. It is too shimmery and very immature looking. I'm 28 years old and I'm looking for products that enhance me naturally, not something that makes it obvious that I'm wearing makeup. The price is also ridiculous! I just bought it because I was clueless and looking for the perfect lipstick no matter what the cost.

Like another reviewer, I was introduced to this particular shade through Pinterest.Her complexion must be fair or so, because I'm mixed with Black and Greek, and I am 23 years old and I ADORE the silvery pink finish! I don't think it looks immature at all, in fact, I'm sure I'll still rock this lipstick when I'm 50. I guess some shades just don't look good on everyone after all.Have y'all seen me in Red lipstick? Oh heck no! Just NO. I look like a troll in Red. I hope the other reviewer found a shade she was happy with!Stay Beautiful! :D

Shade was a bit "frostier" than I expected. I threw it in a drawer...not wearing it because I like a bit more coverage.

Love this lipstick, got it for my sister who has been wearing it for like 10 yrs so product was great. Shipping was messed up since USPS was slow delivering it (but then again it was Christmas time so it's understandable) even still when the product didn't arrive on time the seller was willing to help ASAP so I greatly appreciate them.

Mac - Frou is my favorite lipstick that I wear all the time. I usually get at Macy's but not always convenient . However it is cheaper at Macys so I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay the extra? But I did.

This color is not pinky as it appears. The color is just a blah shimmery color. Only use it to tone other colors down.

Although I did not buy this lipstick through Amazon it is an amazing color for me. I am older and don't think it is too shimmery for me to wear. My lips have a lot of pigment I think and most lipsticks turn a bright fuchsia color on me when I wear them. I do regular tests with my daughter and others. We all put a shade on our hand - their lipstick stays the same shade on them but the swatch on my hand of the same color they are trying out turns a horrible bright pink which look awful on my face. Anyway, this is absolutely my best shade in the world.
