Yolo: Limited

Loved the CD. Was not happy when I received the package that it was supposed to have come in. That it wasn't in the box. But the problem was handled and didn't have 2 wait long 2 receive it..

One of the best, if not the best, contemporary Japanese hardrock bands. Interesting to see their development over time, better techniques and lyrics. Saiki's voice reaches a greater range and Kanami's notes on the guitar are just delivered like nothing before. No pop at all (there is nothing wrong with J-Pop, but this is not the vehicle).These girls do have a bright future ahead of them.Highly recommended.

Now that I've listened to this about 30 times, I'm totally glad that I bought it. Its really astounding how Band-Maid continues to improve in every way. They are the best hard rock band right now. The only problem with this, is that its only 4 songs long. But the quality of these performances is so high, that it makes even that OK.

Well I loved the music, but my favorite thing was the inclusion of the band score. Since I'm a guitarist this was a huge bonus to me. As for for my least..... well there really isn't anything, I'm very happy with the product.

I didn't buy this EP from Amazon, but no matter. Band-Maid are HOT, and next year they will be HUGE over here. This is the Limited Edition of YOLO. With this purchase, you will receive the sheet music to all of the songs on the EP. The title track is worth the price alone, the other 2 songs are great as well. It should be noted that these songs, Unfair Game, and Matchless GUM will NOT be included on their first full release next year, titled "Just Bring It". YOLO and Unfair Game were written by singer, guitar player, Miku Kobato (the pig tailed maid in their videos) Matchless GUM is written by both Miku and vocalist Saki. Kobato is really coming into her own as a songwriter, she's also a very good secondary vocalist in the band. If you are familiar with Band-Maid's music, you know that each release is getting better. So it is with this EP. If you are a B-M fan: Buy it! If you are on the fence about them, watch some of the live videos on Youtube, to get a feel for how great all of their songs are. Did I mention? They are going to be HUGE next year!

特に３曲目の｢ matchless GUM ｣が最良！片思いの心情を綴った曲だと思うのだが...なんか艶っぽい？作詞者欄を見てみると～小鳩ｃと彩姫様の共同作！なるほどね。メンバーの演奏も素晴らしい、ここまで詞の心情を情熱的に表現されると～もうね、再生回数が半端無いことに(笑)この様子だと来年発売のアルバムも期待が高まります！！

届いてから、iPhoneに入れて、何度も聴いています。一度聴いただけでは全部覚えきれないほど、歌だけでなく、演奏も情報量が多くて、すごく楽しめます。歌も演奏も進化しているのもわかります。フルアルバムが楽しみです。
