Sticky But Doesn’t Irritate Skin
Superior tape. Sticks really well but comes off easily without irritating your skin. I use at night on my lips and works like a charm. This is some of the best tape I’ve ever used.

Great for Sensitive Skin and Areas
I use the Nexcare tape for nighttime mouth taping and it seems to work rather well! It has medium to strong hold and is pain-free when being removed. I do notice that if your skin has any moisturizer, serums, or similar products on, it will not adhere to the skin so it is important to keep the area dry before applying the tape. It is silicone based, not latex. I wear this tape nightly and have found that it doesn't slip, even through regular tossing and turning. As mentioned, I use this tape for mouth-taping. Considering the mouth is a highly mobile area, I am impressed that the Nexcare tape does not lose it's adhesion or hold over 8 hours. This product offers 4 yards of tape and it seems to last quite a while for what I use it for. The tape is not meant to be ripped so it needs to be cut. It is easy to cut, so there is a lot of freedom regarding the size and shape of tape for your needs.I have extremely sensitive skin and this tape does not aggravate the delicate skin around my mouth. There is no residue left behind after using this tape and I have never had my skin turn remotely red in any capacity. This is a huge bonus as I am very careful with the health of my skin. Not only is there no residue left behind on my skin after using the Nexcare Strong Hold Tape, but there is no 'bandage line' going around the perimeter of where the tape used to be. It's as if it were never there in the first place! I'd highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin who wants pain-free bandage removal every time.

works great for mouth taping during sleep
I tape my mouth with these every night and they are comfortable and easy to use. You can rip it with your hands - don’t need scissors. I keep it in my nightstand drawer next to the bed. They are easy and painless to remove in the morning and don’t leave any reside or discomfort. Depending on how you apply the tape, it might leave your skin looking wrinkled for a few minutes but that’s it.

Great for Mouth Taping
This product is great for mouth taping or helping adhere gauze or a loose bandage. It adheres to the skin well but doesn’t hurt when removing which is a plus. It does struggle to adhere to courser hair on arms, legs or face, so works best on direct skin.

Excellent Tape for Overnight Use!
I recently tried the Nexcare Strong Hold Pain-Free Removal Tape for keeping my mouth closed overnight, and I am thoroughly impressed! This tape is incredibly effective at providing a secure hold without causing any discomfort.I appreciate that it’s designed for sensitive skin, as I experienced no irritation or pulling when I removed it in the morning. The hold is strong enough to keep my mouth closed throughout the night, but it comes off easily and painlessly, which is a huge plus! The tape is also breathable, so I felt comfortable throughout the night. I highly recommend Nexcare Strong Hold Tape for anyone needing a reliable solution for overnight use. It truly delivers on its promise of being both strong and gentle!

Nexcare vs "X" style individual tape strips
I've been using the plastic "X" style tape for over 1.5 years and switched to Nexcare 3 weeks ago. I like it so much more than the individual X tapes. I highly recommend trying out Nexcare as mouth tape while sleeping.Cost: This is a no-brainer. The plastic "X" style tape strips individual tape strips are very expensive. Nexcare is cheap *and* the roll looks like it's going to last a very long time.Ease of use: Nexcare is on a roll and can be easily torn with fingers alone. The edge of the roll is easy to find and pull up because the tape has a little bit of thickness. So, getting a piece just before sleeping is quick and easy. The plastic "X" style tape strips require some fidgeting with the paper or plastic that the strip comes on, and I almost always ended up bending a corner of it onto itself.Feel: Nexcare is soft to the point where I forget it is on my lips at all. The stiff plastic "X" style tape strips are not very comfortable and could make my lips a bit itchy at times.Reapplying: The Nexcare tape is super sticky and easy to apply and reapply -- I sip water about 2x per night. The X tapes did not stick as well after reapplying, but the Nexcare is just as good.Lip balm: I can also apply some lip balm to the corners of my mouth when needed after putting on the Nexcare tape, and only the edges of the tape lose their stickiness. When I tried that with the plastic "X" style strips, the entire tape would lose its stickiness almost immediately.Residue: Some reviews said they get a residue on their lips after taking the Nexcare off. I haven't experienced that. It's possible that some rolls have this problem and others do not. Or that it's very sensitive to heat, and that occurs after too much heat exposure. I'm only guessing, though.Customizability: Since you tear off a piece of Nexcare tape with your fingers, you can customize it to the perfect length for your lips. I only cover about an inch of my lips, so I could always breathe through the corners of my mouth while sleeping, if necessary (but this hasn't happened). The plastic "X" style strips are one size only.Trust: The companies that sell the plastic "X" style strips change all the time. I could never buy the same product twice (3+ months apart) because they would disappear, only to be replaced by another company and a different-looking product. Nexcare is made by 3M, which has been around for decades and is used in medical settings. I trust the ingredients of Nexcare much more because of that.

Works well as mouth tape!
I've been using this as mouth tape for about a year. It's easy to tear and it comes off with no residue. I have taken it off and reapplied it and it was still sticky. I usually use about an inch and a half each night. And the roll lasts about 3ish months. One thing to note is that if you have any product on or around your mouth, it does not stick very well. I tend to have an issue with this after I do my skincare or when I just applied chapstick. To get around this, I try to do this at least 30 minutes before I plan on using the tape. I hope this helps!
