It was the unknown part of my project, something I’ve never done before, cutting a hole in brick. This thing went through it like butter! Cut perfectly through the brick and mortar and kept cutting aggressively through a 3” brick. I only needed it for one hole but have all the confidence it would cut several more holes. Only complaint is I would like to see a deeper version so it would cut through a standard brick, I got around this by breaking out the core with a pry-bar then continuing the cut.The description should mention that you can use a right angle grinder or your electric drill, I didn’t realize this until I saw a drawing on the box of the hole saw screwed onto a grinder, duh. Used the grinder at first then broke out the core and continued with the hole saw, used the adapter to chuck it into a battery drill and drilled the rest of the way through the wall. Worked great!

Granite countertop = no problem
Worked perfectly. Used it with an angle grinder. Dipped the bit in water every 20 seconds or so to keep it cool. Super easy to use.

Cuts tile like butter
I used this to cut holes for a roman tub faucet. I have several other sizes from other manufacturers that are not nearly as nice as this. The amount of diamond bits on this hole saw is at least 3x what I have seen on the others I have used. The gauge of metal used is also thicker. While I only cut two holes, I expect this will last a very long time.I love that I can use it either with my drill, or my angle grinder. If you have an angle grinder, use it. It has much better torque and with the two handles gives you much better control. What I do for getting a good cut in exactly the right place is cut a template out of a piece of scrap wood (1x4 or 2x4) and clamp it over the tile I am cutting. Use a wood cutting hole saw for the template, NOT the diamond bit hole saw. I will then get the cut exactly where I want it, and can run water continually into the template to keep the bit cool, clean and lubricated. Of course, this only works if the tile is not already installed.Overall a great hole saw. Well made, good packaging, and quick shipping. Pay the couple of $$'s extra for this over the cheapest ones. You will be glad you did.

Excellent Product
It's worth buying this item for the drill bit adapter alone. Smart design!!!

Makes a nice clean hole
The media could not be loaded. Had to install a glass cleaner in the kitchen and needed to drill a 1 1/4" hole in my quartz countertop. This saw did the trick. It took a few minutes to drill all the way through the 1 1/4" thick countertop. I would stop every 30 seconds or so and dip the drill bit in a cup of water to keep it cool. Since there's no center drill bit to begin the hole you have to start the drill at a 45 degree angle and slowly bring it up to the vertical position. If you try to start from the vertical position the saw will wander and scratch the surface.I think this is a pretty good quality hole saw since most of the diamond coating was still on after my cut. It also comes in a nice container for storing it.I recommend this product.

Get the right tool for the job and it goes easier
I’ve never had to drill a granite countertop, but as a systems, installer automation, audio data, etc. I have a cabinet that I had to drill and the top had granite I bought the bit off of Amazon not knowing what to expect but within minutes my job is complete and I was very happy
