Wild Nothing, a diamond in the rough for now
Wild Nothing revitalizes what you loved about groups like The Cure. Catchy, airy guitar riffs, perfectly placed synthesizers, great retro drum sounds paired up with dreamy, floating vocals are what makes "Gemini" a pleasure to listen to. Originally an import only, I have had this album for a quite a while now. It instantly hit me with songs like "Summer Holiday", "Chinatown", and "Bored Games", which are all songs that could wear out the repeat button on your stereo with their engrossing melodies and engaging lyrics. It's a great driving album, summer album, pretty much year round this album has been playing in my headphones. I also had the chance to see them in NYC. They put on a great show. I really like how they've taken aspects of the retro 80's rock style and transformed it into their own brand of shoe-gaze.I think this has become one of my favorite albums this year for the reason that there is nothing out there today quite like it. There isn't anything this catchy that is also this pure and genuine sounding throughout. It's filled with a variety of songs, more laid back than upbeat, but nothing that falls short of the overall consistency and sound that the group has created. For fans of The Cure and the dreamier side of indie rock, this album is probably right up your alley.

A fresh childhood remembrance.
Gemini was the first song I ever heard of Wild Nothing, and since the first time I heard it I knew I was in the presence of something amazing, something big. I'm completely HOOKED with Wild Nothing's music. This album is a real masterpiece. Songs like Summer Holiday, Live in Dreams, Confirmation and Gemini take you back to a world of breezy summer afternoons and childhood memories (yeah, even if you're 90 years old and this music didn't even existed back then). Every song flows with the next one. Jack Tatum has a crazy musical talent which he exploits in every song he makes. Truly amazing.

Almost 80s goth indie vibe
Very good for a lethargic day, if you like fast and slow paced British indie rock with a hint of goth feel

Good but Flawed
I loved this album. There are lots of great songs to lose yourself in. The only I didn't like was the production, as oftentimes, everything sort of blurred together, and the vocals aren't nearly as strong when you can only pick out the top end of them. The album is sort of repetitive and it can be difficult to pick out individual tunes, but overall, "Gemini" is a great set of bedroom pop tunes. Highly recommended.

The Timelessness
I went to the concert where I could hear songs from the albums "Indigo and "Nocturne", I knew little of the first album "Gemini, and boy, am I glad I purchased it. I could listen to it all day.

Perfect bedroom rock
Perfect bedroom rock. This album perfectly captures a sense of nostalgia I didn't know I had. Pressing is good too– not the highest quality, but I doubt a better one will ever exist.
