These are great at what they’re great at. What’s that even mean? Well they’re ice packs, small ice packs. They activate quickly and easily, they stay cold long enough considering their size, they’re affordable. Plenty of pros if that’s what you’re looking for. Using them for youth sports just makes sense because most of your kids that need these took a soccer ball to the face or got kicked in the leg. They don’t actually “need” the ice packs but we have conditioned them to think if they’re hurt this will automatically help make it all better. So why overspend for those purposes? And in the event younger kids have an ACTUAL injury that needs ice these still do the trick. So what are the downsides? Older kids may find these way too small, especially if there’s a bad fall or bruising to the hip or leg or back. Trying to put a 4x5 ice pack on a grass and dirt shredded thigh is pretty silly. Bc they’re so small and full they’re also not that flexible, so you can’t really wrap it around a wrist or ankle. It just has to sit on top of the main point of contact. And lastly durability. This is tough bc kids don’t make smart decisions, but I’ve had a number of these burst open as there “played with”. Ideally you wouldn’t have that issue if they’re being used for their purpose but given that most of you will use these for kids it’s important to note that if they throw it around too much it absolutely WILL open up. I do not hold this against the company though bc in normal use they have been flawless

Gets very cold and need to place in a soft bag or wrap in lightweight towel. But does the job on sprains and other soft tissue injuries.

I bought these to pack for a trip. My husband unexpectedly hurt his knee before a flight and these came in handy. They pop easily and stay cold/cool for at least 30 mins. I haven't had any issues with leaking and they don't have a scent. We had extra so I put them in the car for easy access just in case. Today the came in handy for my little niece that fell off her bike she as fine and was amused with the pop and immediate cold for her pan relief. Great product.

These cold packs are great to keep on hand! I ordered these to keep my hands cool while bowling in my weekly league. To keep them from warming up and swelling. Though these don't stay cold enough through all 3 games, they really did help. I've also had a couple of migraines that I've used these for. I applied them to my forehead and back of my neck. The cold relief was helpful to take the edge off of the pain. It got me thinking. These are great to keep on hand for various bumps, bruises, headaches and fevers. They're very handy to store in your vehicle for all 'in case of emergency' scenarios. Even being stuck in traffic on a hot day, these would be helpful. These are quite handy to keep around. They aren't sticky either. Nor do they really have a wet feel. There's a slight bit of moisture transfer from the cold but not much. I didn't notice any smell. This is a great product! The reason for the 4 stars is longevity of keeping cool and that there was a dud in the box that wouldn't crack or cool. Not too bad though! Would purchase again!!

So easy to use, fold and its pop, shake and aahh, cold and ready. Nice to grab and put on my fractured wrist. Now I have for my dental implants. Life saver

This is the second time buying an instant cold ice pack. This is a different brand than before. I am completely shocked how cold these are compared to the other brand! I bought them to keep in the car and for soccer games. We tried one, shook it, folded in half and you hear a pop and it got cold immediately! Then shake it again. It was cold! Super surprised. I was super skeptical about this especially “instant cold” It was cold as if I just took it out of the refrigerator or if it was in the freezer for an hour or less. Very surprised how cold it got! Which is great for soccer games. Again I only have tested 1 so far. We shall see the others. Definitely recommend, so far so good. Very flexible and bendable. Lasted for a good solid 10 mins. No issues with packaging. I’m sure that’s a hit and miss and depends how far the box is traveling I’m sure.

Great for post surgery pain and delivered overnight! Needed a cold pack that is convenient, fast, and clean. It stays cold long enough for comfort and it’s the perfect size. Great for needing something that feels more sanitary, since it’s individual use.

What a disappointment. I bought these cold packs with the assumption that they got cold like an ice pack. Wow....wrong I was planning on putting these in my first aid bags.I tested 6 bags while following the directions perfectly and they didn't get any colder than 53 degrees. I measured the temp with a infrared thermometer as well as a mercury thermometer. Maybe these are old stock or something however can't be considered a ice pack at all. Looks like I will go back to Dollartree as those packs get so cold they almost turn to solid ice. Save your money buy elsewhere. :(

A really good item for instant cold therapy, used three times the week after purchase. Stays colder much longer than estimated. Will definitely buy again when stock runs low.

Easy to use, gets good and cold. My toddler asks for ice packs after every little bump, so these are great to have on hand for soccer and other outdoor activities.

Nous avons pris ce moyen de soin à la place de bombe froide pour notre club de taekwondo. Ces sachets sont incroyablement efficaces. Simple d'utilisation, procure du froid plus longtemps qu'une bombe froide. Associé à une paumade Arnica et le choc disparait rapidement. La récupération après la blessure dure moins longtemps car les premiers soins sont appliqués très rapidement. Je valide et recommanderai si besoin. Si le choc est plus grand que la zone du sachet, nous pouvons utiliser 2 sachets pour couvrir la zone. Mais ce cas ne s'est pas produit chez nous car nos chocs sont très ciblées. Merci
