It was a little bit darker ash blonde than I wanted... I normally use t18 wella.. I also found this L'Oreal purple toner conditioner that is wonderful.. tones it beautifully and leaves it super silky and I have very fine thin hair.... it's in a light pink tube and it's not very big and I've been buying them for $10 a tube. I use it about every 3 days otherwise your hair starts to turn lavender

I have blonde hair and I have to be careful with some toners out there. They tend to turn my hair grey instead of platinum. I’m 60 so I’m avoiding grey as long as I can! This toner is perfect, no grey, no purple and just a subtle color of sand but mostly blonde. Took the brass out.

Did want just a smidgen to tone my level 11 hair. It became brown level 9.

I’ve tried many toners (I’m a pro cosmetologist) and this (for my hair personally) is the best platinum toner. No off tones! And it’s not to deep. It does fade after a couple washes but it’s very pretty when it fades as well. I use L’Oréal silver toning conditioner for upkeep between colorings! Both are non damaging to my hair.
