Installed on stone staircase
With proper tools this can be installed on a stone staircase. I cut the bottom end to level the railing to my staircase since they were not consistent in height per the directions. I used 1/4" x 2 1/4" wedge anchors and a hammer drill with a 1/4" masonary bit to drill the holes. I ground the stone down so that the flanges laid flat on the stone. Two of the anchors did not hold however the railing is still very strong. Very pleased with the final product.

Handrail is beautiful
Our handrail is installed and we are happy with the graceful look and the added security. We have just remodeled our home and we try to be selective with the exterior details also. The handrailfits in perfectly.
