I tried on 28 different kinds of swim leggings from Amazon, and this was on of them.Private Island makes the best swim leggings on Amazon. No joke. I tried on two different styles: Full Length and Capri.I love the way these fit me. I love the fabric, the quality, and the price. They are slightly longer than the other capri swim pants I tried on. They give support, which is SO important for a plus sized girl like me (I wear 1x-2x, or 18-20). There's no jiggle and no lumpiness. They are comfortable. Private Island Hawaii rash guards are great. The weight is fine for wearing nothing underneath them. I own several of the short pants and several of the full length. The full length are 4 inches too long...I wear them puddled..so I had hoped the Capri length would also run long and would therefore be ankle length on a 5'3" woman. It didn't work out. They are Capri length. The size has some flexibility depending on preference, except that the waist on all their pants is very small. I prefer the XXXL for a size 16/18 pant in order to get a bit more ease in the waist. I have some XXL and some XXXL. I would not wear anything smaller because the waist would be too small and the fabric would be very stretched to thinness and seem sheer. Very happy with his brand. I machine wash on delicate cycle and hang to dry, and my entire collection looks like new.

I'm 5'7", 160 lbs and am heavy in the waist, bought XL, they are slim without squeezing my waist, but they don't slip down when diving. Great quality fabric! Side seams lay flat and are not distracting. I do wear a bikini bottom underneath; though it is not sheer, the traditional seam that is in any other pair of pants would probably be a little irritating in the netheryaya ;-)

These in my opinion are NOT meant to be used in a pool, I’ve used mine 6 times and they are already losing their color the blue is turning grey and in some areas almost pink. Would not purchase again for use in a pool, fresh water only or be prepared to get 5 uses before they discolor. I will add that I wash them immediately once we get home each day, my son has swimming lessons 4 days a week so we need clean swim clothes each morning. I will add i received these on July 1st, and added pictures July 10th we have gone in the pool 6 days total as of today. Hope this helps

I am returning these because even though they are comfortable, they are too thin to be worn alone. I'd love to keep them, but I will have to buy another piece to not feel naked and I've already ordered a different bottom. The material is like a really thick pair of tights, or the kind of leggings that you can buy in the pantyhose section.

I bought these to wear in the indoor public swimming pools during the winter months, as the water is hardly heated. I purchased an XL, my normal size in "stretchy" bottoms and they fit perfectly. I wear them over my swimsuit, as they are not meant to be worn alone. They keep my legs warm and they also look cute. I've received many compliments.

I really like the fit of these pants. They are long enough for a tall woman (5'10", 34 inseam). However, I was hesitant to order more, after my first pair had a significant an uneven color fade after 3-4 wearings. See pictures. No, I did not bleach them. I ordered two more, and have worn them in the same pool and spa, and so far they are fine. I am hoping that Private Island will replace the one bad pants since they may be some type of odd fluke with a bad fabric run.

I love to swim in the ocean but hate the sunscreen bath before and reapplying over and over. With these swim leggings, along with the tank and jacket, I don't have to constantly change. I wear them to the store, gas station, etc on the way to the beach and they're quick drying so I can drive home in them too when the day is done. They are not constricting like wetsuit material and are comfortable enough to wear all day. Love them!!
