Perfect replacement
Works perfect. My 2007 Jetta 2.5 is now blowing great AC cold air. Also feplaced the cabin filter and the airflow increased dramatically as well (very dirty filter).

Complete Junk
I have done several of these valves from different suppliers. This one is junk. Before installing this valve the AC was cold but took 10-15 minutes of driving at high RPMs to get it that way. After installing the valve, the suction (low) side goes to relatively high pressure (80+) PSI after just a few ounces of Freon and won’t take any more. I suspect this valve isn’t actuating and the compressor won’t suck Freon into the low side port. I’m going to reinstall the old valve until I find a replacement that isn’t junk.Update: I reinstalled the *old* valve, evacuated and refilled with R134. The system pulled in the Freon no problem and I’m back in cold air. The valve I bought here is definitely defective and I’ll be returning it.

Measure your original valve length before ordering!
It looks like a great quality product! I just have the shorter valve in my Sanden PXE 16 compressor.I would definitely recommend pulling the original valve and measuring it before ordering.

Works in 08 VW Rabbit
Just got this for our 2008 VW Rabbit. It was taking a while for the AC to kick on, like other people had reported when the valve is sticking. Had the system drained and I replaced the part myself. Nothing besides the splash shield needs to be removed to install this part. Jack up the front end (please use jack stands for safety), remove the splash shield, disconnect the electrical plug, use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring, and gently pry the old valve out with a large screwdriver. The more the front end is lifted, the less likely that any PAG oil from the compressor will leak out. When putting the new one in, lube the o-rings with some pag oil to help the seal and preserve them. I suggest wearing a mask and safety glasses. You do not want any PAG oil on your face if there is still any pressure left in the system.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Volkswagen EOS
The dealership wanted over $1200 to fix the AC on my car. Then I saw a couple of YouTube videos that said most of the time the problems I was experiencing (AC barely working, and only intermittently) was fixed by this valve. So I bought this part and had a local mechanic install it for me. Now my AC is working like new and I saved well over $1000!
