The media could not be loaded. Love this garbage disposal, splash guard. It is exactly what I was looking for it drains perfectly. It fits perfectly a good starting material. That’s flexible enough to push down in the hole, but not too flimsy.

I have an Insinkerator garbage disposal and this replacement piece fit perfectly into my sink. It was easy to remove the old rubber piece that was falling apart and pop the new one in. It’s also nice to know how easy it is to remove it for regular washing. A great price and a high quality product!

Works well at stopping my small silverware from falling into the disposal. The original mine came with (star cut?) was letting too much fall in and I was chomping small spoons etc constantly. Fits perfectly with my Insinkerstor Power Series. I see some people claim that the opening is too small and clogs often. I don’t find that an issue. A quick poke and the food buildup slides down without a second thought. They must be putting a lot of uneaten food in the sink?? Dunno

It fit well and looked good. However the opening when relaxed, didn't allow water to drain as well, and I know garbage disposals last longer when they have enough water to spin the debris with to chop it up-the motor will last longer.What I did was I took a pair of scissors and for the 4 parts of the rubber that hang lowest when installed, I cut off about 1/8" of rubber (past the little reverse-embossed dot) from the lower hanging pieces (4 of them total). This made the opening wider in the center and allowed more water to drain. My Moen garbage disposal with the original splash guard that had a wider hole originally, just gave up (or a knife cut the rubber without us knowing). This replacement worked well, but I just had to modify the product to make it drain better. For that, 4 stars not 5, because I had to modify it to make it work right.For the fit of the new splash guard, it fit well, but I measured first to make sure it worked. Pushed it down until I felt it pop into place and it's good.

We recently installed a new garbage disposal that was highly rated and everything was wonderful except food did not slide through the splash guard. I had to manually push it through each time. Yes, it kept it extra quiet but was so inconvenient. After a few months I gave up and went looking for a replacement splash guard. Ordered this one and am so happy with it. Yes it lets through a bit more noise but I can live with that. It fits perfectly and bits of food can slide through.

Excellent fit! Personally, I cut out the old splach guard and then installed this one. Remember to push it in until the groove point locks into the disposal lit a couple inches down. Dont just throw it into the upper throat of the garbage disposal. Not hard to do, but may take a couple tries. No tools necessary for installation other than a knife or razor blade to cut out the old splash guard.

Tried a universal model from a hardware store but did not fit good. This fits the Insinkerator and also the Badger 900 series which is part of Insinkerator perfectly.
