The quality runs high with this rug, but you will definitely need a pad that will hold it in place. Otherwise it will slide like crazy. Out of the package the rug has folds/wrinkles but they go away in a matter of hours -- all except the four corners that insist on curling upward. I used some triangle-shaped grippers on the corners and it was immediately successful in keeping the corners flat. Result? Perfection.The quality runs high and the color is so beautiful and calming I ordered two more rugs just like it: one for my bedroom and the other for my dining room. I bought the 5'x7' size because that's a size I can handle at my advanced age with my weak muscles. Anything bigger would have been too much of a challenge.Update: The second of the three rugs I've ordered arrived and I was surprised to see there's a color (or intensity of color) difference between the two rugs. I'm posting a photo that shows how one room opens onto the other and you can see what i'm talking about. I don't mind it, but your mileage may differ. Also the second rug was not as easy lay flat. The corners need the grippers. I don't they ever would lose the upward curl without them.Update #2: Forget what I said about the color being wrong. It isn't. I discovered that the depth of color changes, depending on which end of the rug you're walking forward on. And the colors change throughout the day as sunlight comes into the rooms.

I ordered the 2 by 4 to go with the runner that I had already. It came on time The quality is good. The color also matched the runner that I have, the only problem I have it won’t stay down so I have to put some sticky tape on all four edges.

I have a long hallway in my one-story home which leads to my back porch. I wanted a rug for traffic that would be functional and yet decorative. Was a little concerned that this starburst look would not be as attractive in an excessively long runner, but I was wrong. It delivers!Took some time to get the deep roll curls flattened, but as you can see two weeks later - we're there.Also, some reviewers said the colors were not as expected - this palate works well for me as it is off- white wih a black center that bursts into varying shades of gray.

Cute design but needs rug tape underneath to keep from sliding all over.

I bought this in the 4ft round for my swivel barrel chair and to sort of go with an abstract rug in the room without much fighting, and it works well. Nice low pile, lays flat quickly. A nice buy.
