I bought these as a replacement for an older pair withe same name that were still comfy but no longer waterproof. The new pair are equally comfy and a perfect fit for me. No wearing in. They are very light, which is great but the new design are much lower at the ankle and thus offer less ankle support. So far not a oroblem for me. If you adjust the lacing right, it’s easy to make them slip on and off but still fit securely. Good value and quality. I would buy again for the perfect fit.

These boots, or walking shoes are very good. They’re quite snug for their size, compared with others. I take size 10 and at first I was concerned they weren’t generous enough but after a couple of weeks they fit well and are very supportive and comfortable. I feel they are a relatively narrow fit compared with my previous purchases.I haven’t been anywhere very arduous with them yet, so can’t properly comment on their grip or water proofing qualities in adverse conditions.However, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Brilliant shoes, definitely would consider buying again, super lightweight and functional, I know a lot of people say to buy a size up when it comes to Solomons but these are true to size

Bought 340 days ago. Worn as main footwear pretty much every day and i walk an average of around 5 miles a day on road, field and moorland.... Let's say 1,500 miles usage.They have good grip (even now, despite the tred under the balls of my feet being worn away), remained nearly waterproof (one exception) until upto a month ago (excluding where water height exceeded...)The bottom part of the sole is starting to become unbonded but it's my reckoning that this is fair wear and tear.I'll be buying another pair.

I bought these a few months ago and there is no return option for the Amazon order. Very disappointing. The shoes are so comfortable and a dream to walk in, but after little use during past few months, the material inside the shoe (behind the ball of your heel) is coming apart. This means that even on short walks now, the roughness is causing abrasion to my heel. Secondly, there is a plastic design on the sides of the exterior heel, held in place by the softer rubber surround. The soft rubber around this is coming apart in both shoes, meaning that the plastic piece is starting to stick out from the shoe base....not a good look. I have been walking lightly over past few months, so really disappointed with these, as they are so nice to wear. Even worse that I have no option to return these... Happy to change this review if the situation changes.UPDATE: Amazon have agreed to return them for warranty claim, so all should be good. I do think that this option should be easier to find, rather than having to get it sorted out via live chat. These shoes are literally the most comfortable shoes for walking, so I am giving a 2nd set a chance. Maybe I was just unfortunate with the first set.
