I never thought I would love a tap measure. I do a bunch of 3d printing and make my models in metric, but as an American I need my freedom units too. Also this is great quality. I have one for the house and one for the car.

Good tape measure. Only real gripe is that there isn't any numeric marking in one of the groupings at the start of the tape to make measurements a little easier to get.

I recently lost an old, small tape measure that I carried in my purse. This is a nice replacement, though it is slightly larger and heavier than the one I lost. My only real complaint is that it's black rather than silver or a bright color. It's hard to find in my purse. But the tape works beautifully and is very easy to read because of the high-contrast black on white and the size of the numbers and marks. It has a good locking mechanism. If they come out with a bright yellow one, I'll buy another!

Overall quality is above average though the housing plastic could be a little bit thicker. But it still feels sturdy and not cheap feeling. Pulling out the measure feels nice and smooth and the auto lock is tight with no play (at least for now). Retracting is equally smooth and activates easily. The measure also doesn’t bend easily and I tested it to about 5 feet before it bends under its own weight. All in all a solid tape measure with my only nitpick being that it could have a little more solid feeling housing.

I love the minimalist design of this tape measure! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's actually a dark blue color or navy blue, not black (which is what I was expecting from looking at the pictures). It's also really easy to operate by making use of just the one and only button that it has, which instead of the much more common and boring push to lock type of system, it acts as a brake release to reel it back in after extending it. I find that the actual tape measure itself is actually quite easy to read with black measurement markings on a solid white strip (in inches & centimeters).I would've liked it to have had a clip of some kind (for carrying it on a belt), or even just a couple of pre-threaded holes on the side for attaching some sort of clip like the ones that are on my EDC knives, but it does have two small holes along the edge where you can put a lanyard through it – although I found it quite a bit difficult to actually get even the thinnest of looped string through them when I tried it.But it's definitely a great little tape measure and IMHO it's totally worth it! 👍🏻

I use this to measure fabrics, so I rarely need more than 3 feet of measuring. This tape has a great build quality and I choose it mainly for it's auto lock feature. It works perfectly and the numbers are high contrast so very easy to read from afar. Great little tape, love it!
