There is one set with the interior and exterior knobs.

Does anyone else’s doorknob lock horizontally? Stays unlocked vertically? Seems backwards

Yes. It is backwards. Cheap locks.

Can this be re-keyed? Will it work with a Schlage key way?

Unfortunately this is unit is unable to be rekeyed.

Missing screws I received the lock but not the 2 long screws and old lock ones will not work.

T sad or it to your lick hardware store. They should be able to find screws that will work.
