Sierra Madre Duffel Bag, Black, 21" Rolling

Superb product. Very thick material, not thin like other bags we have ordered in the same price point. Zipper is sturdy, lots or storage pockets. Roller works well. It seems this bag also balances standing up better than most. We have had one airport trip and it worked as a carry on. Hold a lot more than your standard carry on suitcase. Will order this one again, but it seems this one will hold up for a long time.

I put this bag through it's paces last roller derby season. The size is perfect for skates, helmet and derby kit. It's got rolly-wheels so it's easy on my back. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. It's not made for heavy duty abuse, but it can work just fine if you're easy on your equipment. I am generally a klutz and not gentle with my stuff, so once I stepped on the retractable handle, bent it and made that janky. A buddie's pup made a chew toy out of the zipper and now the zipper is busted. I left it on the porch and rain got into the wheels so now they're gummed up. I rolled it on a ramp that had a carpet, and the friction of the fabric rubbing on the carpet melted little "cigarette burns" into the bottom. Is it the bag's fault that I've destroyed it? Hardly. But it's worth mentioning in case durability is on your list of needs.

This bag holds about 4 days worth of clothes and toiletries. Fits in the overhead and it actually fit under the seat.(i did have to rest my feet on it) It rolls wonderful so no carrying a heavy bag between gates. Very durable!!

Perfect for any occasion

Bought the 21-in version for flight carry-on. Well built, well stitched. For a price this low, the material seems tough. Smooth roller, balanced handle. Now the flaw, it does not have a side handle, or top handle if you place the bag upright. In almost every duffel bag you will find a handle next to the pulling bar. Many people typically place one hand under the bag then use that handle to pull or balance the bag out or into the overhead compartment. It can be very inconvenient.

can't wait to use it. most important to me, its carryon size for plane.
