Great product but no customer support and poorly written instruction
I was not able to access the web page for one weeknone of the default login password workedwithout any access to the web interface the product is usefulwhat I didreset to factorywas able to access old web interfacewith factory could not use the serial interface to communicate with the deviceuse the tool used to find the device on my network and use the update firmware optionhad to renamed the img firmware file to the proper extensionthen add to disregard the most annoying message box as if the update of the firmware failednot sure if it is because the tool was not executed as administrator on windows with elevation privilegeafter that I was able to access the new web interface and the product workedif you are not an advanced network engineer this product is not for youI am using it for my media system at home to shutdown the internet at night and turn back on in the morningI am also using one outlet to shutdown a video projector which had a bug and would auto start most likely activated by voice assistant or a bad use case with the HDMI ARC on my Sonos systemInstead of releasing tons of product declination Dataprobe should focus on fixing all their user manual poorly written

Awesome!!!
Just what I needed. It took minutes to set up and now I can hard reboot, via power cycle, the machines in my rack remotely.i don't need it but it says I can chain 15 of these together, which would allow me to control a few racks worth of computers. I bring it up because the unit itself is on the pricy side (in my opinion) but it's justified by how well thought out everything is and the expansion capabilities. If I understand it correctly, the software even lets you have multiple locations that you can control - so you could reboot machines in two different data centers at the same time from one control screen. I'm not using that and probably never will, but it does justify the price somewhat.A possible negative - I've got it on a public IP address right now, and next I want to put it on a subnet and set up the firewall to route control traffic to it as needed. But that's a project for the future. I got it up and working and wanted to come drop a review in case others are considering getting this - it works great!!A huge peace of mind. It's always really scary to call and have someone do a remote reboot because if they hit anything wrong or even reboot the wrong machine, it can be catastrophic - I've had it happen. Once a tech got tangled and pulled down an entire power strip which yanked the switch from the top, it was bad. Never have to worry about that with this.
