The Craftsman is a good quality product both sturdy and hard wearing. This box is medium sized idel for house or office use, large enough to carry most hand tools. It features a tray and two compartments in the lid for smaller items. The box is very light weight and comes with a metal latch for secure closure. I am sure this box is durable enough for everyday usage. I tend to use these medium sized tool boxes for storage for my hobby tools such as my airbrushes, hoses and tools keeping them safe were I can find them. The price is good too.

Love the quality of this box and the fact that you can lock it up. It has different storage compartments in it, which have room for small items like nails and larger spaces for your bigger tools. It’s portable and it’s sturdy. Perfect for keeping tools you need close at hand when working on jobs around the house.

This 16-inch CRAFTSMAN toolbox is exactly what I needed for my basic hand tools. It’s lightweight but feels solid, and the latch closes securely. I love that it’s lockable—it gives me peace of mind when leaving it in the garage or truck bed. It’s not meant for huge or heavy-duty tools, but it’s perfect for screwdrivers, pliers, tape measures, and odds and ends. The top tray helps keep smaller items organized, and the size makes it easy to carry around the house or to a job site. Great value for the price. If you need a reliable, portable toolbox for light-to-medium use, this one does the job well.

My daughter and son-in-law bought me a dremel for Christmas, so I ordered this little tool box to keep it in along with it's accessories. It's the perfect size for this tool, and works great. My only complaint about this tool box is the lid doesn't open quite far enough to stay open. With most tool boxes, the lid will lay all the way open so you can access tools easily while working. This one opens at a 90 degree angle, and then closes again if you let go of it. Mildly annoying, but you can pull out the tray, so you can at least set the tray on the top of the tool box, or on your work area for easy access. The lid issue is bothersome enough that I dropped a star off of the rating. It seems good and sturdy, and I'm sure it would be easy to lock if you needed to. I have no need to lock it. I like the little compartments on the top of the box, but I haven't decided what to use them for yet. They may be big enough for some of my more frequently used dremel accessories, so that might be a solution to the closing lid problem.

Reliable strong latch. Lightweight and plastic is durable. Holds a good amount of items and handle is strong.

Amazing little tool box, needed a small storage to keep a few item in the car without taking much space and this is perfect. Tool box is small but stores quite a few item and the plastic trays good for tire plugs and other miscellaneous items. High recommended.

Perfect toolbox to keep in the closet. I am a retired, elderly woman who loves tools. I now live in one room of my granddaughter's house and wanted to keep some of my tools so I bought this box and it holds every took I want (and use), it's light weight and flat on top so I can stack other items on top. Good purchase. I recommend this for everybody who needs a box for their tools. Young, old, man or woman, single or married or somewhere in between.

In general, the toolbox is fine. It works. It stores things. The tray is handy and the small boxes are handy - but then again this design is the same as many other plastic toolboxes, such as my existing Stanley product I own. What drives me crazy, is that there is no spot to grab the lid and open it when it is sitting in front of you. Sure, you can carry it with the handle, but the handle is not positioned to quickly flip open the lid. We keep it in the hall closet where I am constantly reaching at it on the shelf and trying to catch some small lip or edge to quickly flip the lid open. ANNOYING. How hard is it to just design a small catch or lip to open the lid?
