Great little kettle for one person
The kettle looks really smart and has a nice bright blue light while it heats up. The minimum fill is 0.3 litres, enough for one mug, so it boils really quickly and is easier to lift than a larger kettle with bigger minimum fill. The base is very light, but it sits perfectly flat if the flex is carefully placed in the cutaway. After 8 months or so the kettle began to get stuck on the base, but I carefully applied a drip or two of WD40 (with the plug removed from the mains!) to the parts that clip the base terminal inside the kettle socket, and it freed up perfectly. After 14 months the kettle stopped turning off when it boiled, unfortunately, but I contacted the seller, explaining what was happening and asking if it was in warranty. They responded within 24 hours, offering to send me a replacement, which arrived 2 days later. Very impressed. Hopefully the broken heat sensor was a one-off, as I love this little kettle!

FAB COMPACT KETTLE
Looks great, not noisy and performs well. Could be made even better if filter was stainless steel and water level markers were clearer, but all in all very happy.

Handy small kettle
Best 1L kettle. Boils quickly, looks good, lightweight, a little wobbly when placed on the base, but not unsafe. Would buy again.

Worth a chance
I ummed and ahhhed for a bit after reading all the bad reviews (10% or more!) then thought I can always send it back. However, I was one of the 90% lucky ones and it's a brilliant kettle. The factory must just have quality control issues. The kettle is attractive, light, effective and fast to boil. You can open the lid to vertical if you pull it up a bit with your hand. My handle does not get hot and it didn't fuse the power in the house. If yours does either of these (as several seem to) send it back and get another one. It'll probably be fine.My advice is, if you want a small, light, quick kettle, then take a chance, and send it back if you are one of the unlucky 10%. Then try again. It's worth it.Having said all this, I've only had it a week, so we'll see how it performs in the months to come regarding packing in and rusting, which were the other gripes.

Hate the filter...
.. and the first time I used it I burnt my hand. I also wouldn't say it's a fast boiler. I measured a single mug, and the water level came up to the minimum fill level, which was lucky for me.I think the base is too lightweight, and the notch cut out for the cable, doesn't grip the cable at all, meaning that if it were to lift, it would make the base wonky.Though I'm not desperate for a new kettle, my old, very cheap one, is still excellent, I just wanted a smaller one, because when my sister visits, she always fills the kettle to the top, even if making two mugs. I always put just enough water in for a single mug, and the new kettle is no faster, than the old, so I'd say the performance is average. Two main worries though, firstly, when I tried to fill my mug, the steam burnt my hand, and the lid was closed. The second worry is that the filter, that you can't remove, slows the flow of water so much, that you can feel it in on your wrist, I'm pleased I'm not boiling a whole Litre. Imagine if you got tired of the filter slowing you down, and opened the lid to increase the flow, whilst you were pouring, very dangerous. Measuring marks on the side are quite easy to read, the minimum being a third of a litre, or average mug sized.I boiled a full litre of water immediately after unpacking, just to clean it, and tomorrow morning I'll use it properly for the first time, when I have my morning coffee. This will give me a "real world" idea of the performance. I don't have high hopes for the kettle though, because of the very basic flaws, the safety hazards, and the pointless blue LEDs.I can't say that this would be very durable either, imagine filling it and knocking the tap, it would just shatter. This offers very poor value for money, compared to my old kettle, and the running cost would be identical, provided my sister doesn't overfill it, so I'm thinking of returning it, it's too lightweight, both in weight and performance, it's too fragile for my liking, and it can be dangerous to use, oh...and it's overpriced in my opinion.I'll edit this review in the morning.....

It leaks!!
Thought this was a brilliant product which I bought for my motorhome. Boils rapidly as it says, small and neat. However I have only used it a few times and now it as started to leak from the bottom somewhere. Find this dangerous when it’s an electrical item. Not sure if it as a warranty. So I would not class it as good value for money.
