Speakers 2.0 MR4 (black)

The sound coming out from this speakers is really good and I can’t find any faults on it. Build quality is also very good.

Wonderful clear audio

Sound quality is better than on MacBook Pro 2021 which is also good. There are two modes, you can switch between them by pressing on a volume control. Normal sound is when a green light is on. When connected to a PC with Realtek codecs sound is worse than when connected to a MacBook Pro 2021. I am thinking about buying a sound card.

The speakers are very good, but I got the US plug...

1. The background noise is significant, you will notice it even if you are not playing any music 2. The internal power amp is AD82584 instead of the TAS chip showed in the product description 3. The sound is a bit blurry especially at low volume, and noticeable background noise if I lower the input and increase the speaker volume

The speaker version is first generation. The 2.0 means two speakers and not second generation. Also, the price here in amazon is higher by around 200aed when compared to physical store like virgin megastore.

I like these speakers, The build is Solid for the price, The sound is clear and can get very loud. They included all the wires and cables necessary to connect to more than one device. I don't like the volume knob.

Sound is good especially playing physical format of music. Wired still the king

Go for it without hesitation. You can use them as true near field monitors with perfectly flat response, or at the press of a button turn on the music mode for a subtle addition of color (boosts the lows and highs a bit). The volume and power controls are in the front which makes them an excellent desktop PC speaker. Bass and Treble knobs are at the rear. Compared to the R1280’s the MR4 has a tighter low end possibly because of the reinforced MICA drivers compared to paper drivers. Input options include balanced 1/4-inch (6.35mm) TRS inputs for professional gear , as well as unbalanced RCA to AUX (3.5mm) input (cable supplied). The bass exhaust port is in at the back (unlike my 1280BT which has it in the front). This means you cannot place it flush against walls as it might cause booming or jarring. Don’t get the MR4 if you plan to wall mount. I got the white version simply because it was cheaper. But it goes really well with my mostly black PC and white table. The speakers are well packed in manufacturer packing (white cloth wrapped speakers, packed in plastic and then placed in cardboard egg crate type protection). Amazon external packing was just a ripped and taped paper bag 👎🏻). If you’re looking to get 1080BTs please don’t do it. For a little more you can get these excellent and best in price range MR4s. Although they don’t have Bluetooth like the former. If you really need Bluetooth and remote then I will recommend the R1280DB which have been working flawlessly for the last 5 years.

Muy contenta con estos altavoces. Tienen un sonido claro y potente, ocupan poco espacio y se ven muy bien en el escritorio. La calidad de construcción se nota. Prácticos, bonitos y con buena calidad de audio.
