This is a very good product
I have been using it for the past week, with ease. It is extremely user-friendly, easy to read and understand, lightweight. Comes with full instructions including good guide for use/misuse. My sense is that it is pretty accurate, as well. I intend to take it with me for my next MD visit to see how it accords with the oximeter the office uses. As to the seller: on-time delivery and the item just as described. A good value.

Good solution for monitoring your oxygen levels.
Quick readings, easy to use and seems to be very accurate. I showed it to 2 physical therapists I am working with and both were impressed by the quality and the reasonable price.

Mine included case
The pulse oximeter works very well and Is worth the money. I'm very disappointed with Amazon though because they suggested, under "Frequently bought together", that a case be purchased for the oximeter. I ordered the two items and received the pulse oximeter INCLUDING the case. Nowhere in the copy for the oximeter did it say a case was included. I tried to return the additional case and was told it could not be returned or my money refunded. However, I can return the pulse oximeter within 30 days of purchase!

Much better than my last heart monitor
The media could not be loaded. [+] THE REVIEW: I already have a heart monitor, but this one is much better. My other heart monitor:- rates by oxygen levels, but then changes less frequently.- rates my oxygen levels between 95% to 97% initially, then settles in between 97% to 98% and up to 99% if I do deep breathing.- mostly changes up or down by 1% after settling in on a reading. This monitor:- rates my oxygen levels and changes when I change my position or breathing rate over time.- rates my oxygen levels between 91% to 98% over time and circumstances, meaning it changes over time after the initial reading depending on the situation. This tells me that this product is much more sensitive. It is because of this monitor's sensitivity, it is able to record more precise levels in real-time over a span of time. I was so impressed that I created a video of my personal readings while it was on my right hand index finger (with display side pointing toward the palm of my hand). Also, the graph at the bottom showing the heart beat and strength of heart beat is very accurate. When my heart is beating more faintly, such as when I am lying down, it reflects it perfectly. I didn't think the graph was that important when I purchased it, but now that I see it in action, I am glad they put that graph on there because I used it. I would highly recommend this product, and I am really glad I purchased it.TIP: I have noticed that if I shove my finger in the unit too hard (i.e., pressing my finger all the way as far as it will go), it can get a different oxygen reading than if I find a comfortable spot with a little room to spare at the end of my finger. To get a more consistent reading, push your finger all the way into the unit as far as it will go, and then slowly slide your finger out maybe an 1/8 of an inch until your finger feels seated comfortably within the unit. Doing this each time will ensure the sensor is over the same spot on your finger when it takes the oxygen reading thereby giving you a more consistent reading over multiple measurements.[update 5/18/2018] I continue to use this monitor regularly. Lately, I have used it to determine if my lung congestion is affecting my lung efficiency. When my lungs are congested, my oxygen levels dip below 95%, and without congestion the oxygen levels are at 98-99%. This makes sense because the congestion is preventing oxygen from reaching some of the alveoli. This has been pretty consistent telling me this monitor is functioning properly.[+] IS YOUR ROOM AIR OXYGENATED? 10/27/2017 updateI meditate at night. When I start my meditation, I wear the heart monitor to understand where my heart rate is as well as my oxygen levels. The higher I can get my oxygen levels with a lower heart rate, the better focus I have while meditating. I could easily get my oxygen levels to 98% over the last couple of days when doing deep breathing. Then, one day, for some reason, I could only get my oxygen levels to 97%, and what surprised me more was that my oxygen levels started to drop. It would fall to 96% and then 95%. What was going on? Had my lungs suddenly reduced in efficiency by 2% in 24 hours? I kept my steady deep breathing technique, but my oxygen levels would not climb back to its normal 98% range. Then it dawned on me; the oxygen levels in the room might be less. I opened the window and continued deep breathing using air flowing inside from the open window while watching the monitor. My oxygen level rose to 98% quite quickly (maybe 15-30 seconds) and for a brief period it even hit 99%. For whatever reason, the oxygen levels in my room was poorer quality than outside air. Now, if my oxygen levels dip, I open a window to let some fresh air in. This understanding is possible because of this heart monitor. It has enough sensitivity such that I could see the fluctuation of oxygen levels in real-time. If you are having trouble getting your oxygen levels up, try going outside and take your oxygen levels again. If they go up outside, then you might have poorer oxygen quality inside your house (i.e., open a window!).[+] TO GET ACCURATE READING, YOU NEED UNOBSTRUCTED BLOOD FLOW: 11/17/2017 updateI read in a recent review on this product that the person was not getting an accurate pulse reading. Another example I ran into was a guy at the gym who said his fitbit was not working when he was on the bike. I have an answer for anyone who does not understand why a finger/wrist monitor does not sometimes register the heartbeat (only my anecdotal thoughts).Any monitoring device (finger or wrist) relies on blood pressure to operate properly. The problem is that the blood pressure in the extremities can vary quite a bit depending on the situation. For example, if I raise or lower my hand above/below my heart, my blood pressure in my hand will change for a moment while the blood in the vessels adjust to the new position. If I cough or sneeze, the increased pressure in my rib cage will momentarily increase blood pressure followed by a momentary drop in blood pressure, which is why you could see the heart monitor register a zero heart beat for a moment. In the case of the guy on the bike, when you place your hand on the bicycle handle, most likely what is happening is the pressure on the hand and the wrenching of the wrist is restricting blood flow such that it effects the blood pressure and thus effects the monitor (i.e., it's only the blood pressure in the extremity we are discussing, not throughout your body). I tried this myself at the gym while biking. If I put pressure on the hand/wrist while grabbing the handle bar, the monitor would sometimes give me sporadic results. If I sat up on the bike with my hand/wrist free from pressure, the monitor worked every time. While using any extremity heart monitoring device, you need to pay attention to how external events can cause the blood pressure in your finger, hand or even arm to change with those events. Now the good news. That is what the graph is for at the bottom of this monitor. It tells you when conditions are acceptable to get a good reading. If the graph does not show a consistent heart beat, then I know the readings might not be accurate. When the graph shows a consistent heartbeat (as like the one in my video), then I can rely on the readings. I hope this helps anyone understand the mechanics of why all heart monitors of this type sometimes have difficulty in getting a reading.[+] CHECK OUT COMMENT by BettyWriter: 12/15/2017 updateBettyWriter added a comment to explain the graph, which is a plesmethograph (please read her comments).[+] USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: 2/24/2018 updateI use rechargeable batteries with mine because I use mine often. These are the pre-charge rechargeable batteries. They hold a charge longer when being charged without being used (i.e., you can charge them and put them in the drawer until you need them). Panasonic BK-4MCCA4BA eneloop AAA 2100 Cycle Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries, 4 Pack $10.69 eneloop 4-Position Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Charger (white) $25.96You can buy both the 4-AAA batteries and the charger (need to click on the AAA option after clicking on link): Panasonic K-KJ17MCA4BA Advanced Individual Cell Battery Charger Pack with 4 AA eneloop 2100 Cycle Rechargeable Batteries $23.58 w/4-AAA (All prices are as of 2/25/18)As you can see, you might be able to buy 4-AAA + charger cheaper than buying them separately. The reason I like the Eneloops is that they retain 80% of their charge when being stored years after they are initially charged - the best retention of all rechargeable batteries.[+] APPLAUSE; BALLOONS DROPPING; STREAMERS FLYING; PEOPLE WHISTLING:Thank you; thank you. {crowd quieting} I am excited to announce that as of 4/25/18, my profile just reached 1,000 helpful votes! {crowd cheers} I would like to thank my iguana Alfred who has been so supportive during the long nights of writing reviews. {crowd laughs} I also would like to thank Amazon - what a wonderful place to purchase products! Wow, this is cool, I said. I checked my profile and saw that my reviewer ranking was around #8000. So, I wrote more reviews. I was so excited when I checked my reviewer ranking to see it improve to around #7000, so I put even more time into writing reviews. I must be getting helpful votes, I thought, because my reviewer ranking then shot up to #5028. Alright, I said, I rolled up my sleeves, dropped everything and put ALL my time into my reviews. Works Well. Comes with Carrying Case.
Works well. Appears to be accurate compared to SpO2 readings I got at the hospital. Please note that this unit does come with a carrying case and lanyard so there is no need to buy a separate carrying case. The seller's product info incorrectly states that the carrying case is sold separately. That may have been true for an earlier version of this product, not sure.

Easy to read the numbers.
This is exactly what I wanted. I have pulmonary hypertension and my breathing levels go down, so I wanted pulse ox at home so I can keep tabs on my breathing. This is easy to read and works right out of the box. Nothing complicated about it.

Best pulseox I have ever owned
I have had several other models and by far this is the most sensitive. My fingers do not have adequate blood flow for some of the other similar types. This model is extremely sensitive and picks up the pulse and oxygen level very quickly. Best unit I have ever had, works perfectly every time.

Easy to use.
It is not 100% accurate (neither is the doctors or hospital). Works great and is portable. The battery last a long time.
