This is the second Learn to Talk Book I have bought for my granddaughter.Pros: simple, easy to imitate sounds, pictures of children which engage your one year old, sturdy pages easy for them to grasp.Cons: The Things that Go book may interest your boy rather than your girl.I would recommend this book to anyone.

Toddler loves these books! It helped get him saying a few new words and he loved the pictures of the little kids. Highly recommend

We have the other learn to talk book and it was incredible to support our child to speak. Now that they’re older they love vehicles and it seemed like a no brainer to get this book. Instant hit.

This book has simple illustrations which we love. My toddler learnt a lot from this since he’s seeing fellow kids and of course, he loves cars. I also enjoy reading it to him. The books also has a guide for parents/adults on how to read to and engaged the child.

I am an SLP. I use this all the time when working with children under three who have expressive language delays. Great book!

A friend who is a speech therapist recommended this book as a way to continue developing vocabulary for one and a half year old son. He is in love with all things trucks, so the images are perfect for him! After a few read-throughs together, he started to repeat some of the sounds that he recognized (beep, go, etc) and we have had a great time practice new vocabulary with him! He has started to use the same terms when we see trucks and cars in public as well. The realistic images of the babies and trucks are also great- it helps him see what things really look like versus cartoon style images!
