I purchased this on the recommendation of a neighbor. I am SO HAPPY, I love that I don't have to look at my compost bin any longer. This is a game changer mounted on the inside of the door in my kitchen. The forward flipping lid is genius, easy to use and super easy to keep clean. It is all plastic and sturdy. The price is good. The size is nice for our needs, we create a lot of compost (about 4 gallons a week) and we only have to change the bag every few days. It is very lightweight so it doesn't stress the cabinet door and the installation options were easy and ideal for our use.

Would recommend without reservation. Well designed and comes with spare parts, too! The glue backing is holding up after four months of warm (80-dgrees). Easy on-off the door to empty contents. Plastic bags a nice add/addition! Also fits produce bags from the grocery store, so win-win!

Overall I'm very happy with this product, and I buy it again. I wanted a place to put kitchen scraps and items that aren't recyclable This is perfect for that. (I recycle everything possible -- cans, bottles, paper, etc., So those don't go in this container.) The hook for installation on a kitchen base cabinet door slides over the top edge of the door nicely and fits well. The internal space inside the container is adequate. As shown in the description details for this item, the lid has a nifty design fo that allows you to open by sliding forward to expose the entire top opening and providing access to the interior without dealing with vertically lifting a hinged lid. It's not too difficult to clean the container by removing it and running hot water inside and wiping it out, but it's a bit fussy maneuvering around the top lip to wipe it dry. I just let it sit out in the air dry. It can also be washed in the dishwasher if your racks have sufficient vertical clearance. The way the lid opens makes it possible to use almost any size plastic bag inside, but if you want a bag that fits snugly, you may choose to buy the precisely sized 2.4 replacement bags. They come in packages of 100 or around $15, and offer the advantage of being biodegradable, a desirable feature for those of us who are concerned about avoiding clogging landfills with plastic.

This is a great compost bucket! Very convenient in the kitchen. I just wish it had an internal, removable bucket that I could take outside to dump in the compost bin. It does come with 20 liner bags, which I hope are biodegradable, but they never tell us. Love the 2 way opening top!

Looks pretty much exactly as the picture. The double lid opening works flawlessly so far and it's perfect size for my needs.

It is an excellent product which works a treat. I have the bin resting on my counter because it is then close to hand when scraping in food waste. It is nicely made and the lid fits well.

Our super controlling city requires that we put fruit and veggie waste in our green bin. This little bin is FANTASTIC! There are 2 irreplaceable features that I love about this little guy. First, it has a bracket that goes over a cupboard door or drawer side that allows you to suspend it onto the bracket. I duct-taped mine to the side of the fridge which was convenient in my older kitchen. Second, the lid can be propped open and will hinge to an open or closed position easily without disassembling it. It's easy to clean and is far superior to the "free" one the city handed out a month after instituting their green-bin policy. It doesn't leak, it keeps the smells at bay and is overall exceptionally convenient. You won't regret purchasing this convenient little invention.

It’s nice and big , I like that it comes with bag even though it’s only for like two weeks depending on how much you cook . I don’t know how you’re supposed to keep the bag in place and that’s a bit of a problem for me. So if you could figure that out then you’re good

My shipment did not come with the adhesive hook, wall mount hook, or the scraper. The size itself is great, and I have yet to test the bin itself.
