Field mouse gives these 2 tiny thumbs up. Didn't think he would use these because he was so small, but it takes him probably a 1/4 of a second to get from the far end of his cage to the top of these tubes. Damn things are fast. These tubes are a little flimsy and feel like they are going to break when taking them apart to clean. But apparently they are stronger than they seem. The seal for the hole in the cage works great. Keeps up the tube and closed up the hole. Would definitely get more.

The tubes snap together easily and hold together well, but if you ever want to take them apart there is a good chance it will rip a piece of the cheap plastic off of the connector ring. This doesn't compromise the quality of hold the ring offers after one or two changes, however I would not recommend putting any tubes together until you know how you want them and then don't try to change them after. Essentially these rings operate like a door latch that is angled on one side so it can be pushed closed and then it's flat on the other side so the door can't be pulled open. Pulling two tubes apart is like ripping a door open without turning the handle, which is why the plastic pieces break off. Once together these tubes are fantastic. These play perfectly into a hamsters instinct to dig a network of tunnels underground and my hamster even stored a load of her food in the big loop like it was hidden deep in her tunnels. She was scared at first going through the long tunnel I put together, probably because it was new so it didn't smell like her and she didn't know where it would go so a few times she was trying to back up to get out of there. Eventually she made it all the way through the tunnels and learned to love them.

I normally don't write reviews but I loved what I received so much I decided to offer my opinion. I have 3 hamsters, 2 short haired syrians and a robo. One of my syrians loved sleeping and hording inside of his tubes but he would be kind of squished in them. This loop was perfect and I knew it as soon as I opened the package. It's very spacious and a lot bigger than the tubes connecting to it. It has a top and bottom attachment for connection tubes as well which is nice. It attaches in 2 pieces and a plastic screw goes into the middle to secure it into place. It's very sturdy and I've only had it for a day now but my syrian has barely come out of it! A must buy for syrians who love to sleep, horde, and move bedding into their tubes. My other syrian however doesn't show the same interest in tubes so I didn't buy him one. Regardless it was an excellent purchase and my hamster is a lot happier.

This is our hamsters favorite sleeping area. and extra loop extensions included make it perfect price and size. Comes apart easy for cleaning. I recommend when putting together not aligning the holes on top of each other as they have in picture but offset a little for entrance. It makes it easier for them if you have tubes added to top and hamster not slipping down when entering from the top of large loop.

I have a Russian Dwarf hamster and she cannot turn around in the tube. I hope I have not made her fat, but she is really active. I don’t think that is the problem. She can only go forward or back up. She has never used the tubes before so it may just be learning how to use them for her. She does not seem to like how small they are. This would be great for mice or robo hamsters. If my hammy gets any bigger she will need larger tubes by habit trail ovo. My hammy is only 2months so lots of growing left for her to do. Don’t worry habit trail and critter trial tubes are compatible and hook together. I like that you can mix and match the two. The Loop-d-loop part she does like. It’s big enough for her to turn around it. The tubes are easy to clean. Just soak them in hot soapy water, rinse, air dry. The loop-d- loop is kind of heavy, so make sure it’s properly supported or it will pop off the tubes. You don’t want your hammy to escape. They don’t make the best decisions that lead to last them staying alive. Also never use for syrain hamster. Only use the habit trial ovo brand only. it is the only tubes that will fit a syrain.

Love this kit. I have a dwarf hamster and I wanted to give him more room instead of purchasing a bigger cage for him to run and play in. You can really add this any way you want. I made two tunnels on the bottom of the cage and added the loop-d-loop to the top. He loves the loop-d-loop and I see him in it all the time. He even sleeps in it even though he normally buries himself in his bedding. These are good quality. A few are hard to pull apart and I had to use a knife to get them detached but I can't complain because I would rather them be more secure than less.

We purchased this for our hamster cage to take her dwelling from "Meh" to "WOWZAH." The tube witht he circle thingie keeps falling over. We had to ghetto-it-up with electric tape, which really dragged down the property value in her neighborhood. Every day the cat walks by and laughs. On the plus side. the hamster occasionally drags her bedding up into the circular cabin and has herself a little weekend getaway. It usually coincides with Cage Cleaning Time, which is a handy reminder that her cage stinks.

This was great for attaching my two crittertrails to meet minimum floor space. My two hams though one they have a traffic jam one has to turn around as two cany pass each other but roboroskis would be able to. Also I used it to add an external bathing spot/litter spot

Awesome craziness for our mouse.... "little Ticky" is running up and down these tubes and they also connect to Habitrail OVO stuff aswell which is a big bonus, "Tick" soon learnt how to get around using the tubes and they have been great for giving him more running room. They all come apart to wash them and seem pretty solid, no problems with breakages as some have said but once you work out how to separate them and fix em back together they are a breeze to use and can be changed to add Playability for your critter. Our mouse loves it if we change them when we clean him out every couple of days, he spends ages running back and to finding where they now connect to.

Arrived early very early indeed! It contained all the bits non missing I connected the tubes together and added them to my gerbils crittertrail cage they love it! Its just so fun watching them discover them and have fun in them............ Would definatly reccomend and very very cheep for the money! 5*

Love these tubes! So fun to make extra exploring areas for your fur babies. Easy to put together. Easy to take apart to clean.

We enjoy adding onto our Kaytee, Critter Trail habitat, whether it be joining habitats, adding tunnels or this little look out tower. It is a wonderful little look out, but I do not recommend using it as intended as it would not be stable as a tower. It does not actually close evenly/tightly and does require a small piece of scotch tape. I do appreciate the ease of spot cleaning with the top easily removed while still being secure when closed. I would recommend not adding too many accessories until your little pet is well in their way to being litter/sand trained, as cleaning add on tunnel accessories would be a hassle if the gerbils were not so great about using their sand potties.
