In the 90s when I was a teenager I ran Orion equipment and it was some of the best stuff and they UNDER rated their amps wattage. Unfortunately now days they over rate their amps :( This amp dyno tests to only a about 350 watts...which is still enough to push two shallow mount 12s,,,but not even close to the rating Orion says it is, lol. That being said, I chose to purchase Orion equipment for daughters 2023 Trailblazer. I built some nice boxes that sit behind each front seat (in rear seating foot area), facing backwards, snug in the entire area each box being aprox 2.4 cubic feet, sealed, and allowing for her to have a completely flat rear area with rear seats down and full open cargo area for her heeler dogs. Her rear cargo mat goes from rear of car to back of front seats sitting ontop of the two boxes perfectly. The bass is good...NOT awesome and intense like Orion once was...but these ARE shallow mount 12s in small enclosures (although this is the size they are called for), and again this amp only puts out about 350watts max.... and she is VERY happy with the bass. Myself having had 90s Orion 12s and amps that would crack my windshield..Im a bit disappointed. So have your expectations be reasonable :) Orion does make and sell higher end 12s, and amps, so again for what this equipment is, Id still give it a sold A+ There is no distortion at all, and nothing being pushed beyond its limits, so this should last her for the next 4 or 5 years till she changes vehicles :)

I got the 3000.1D and i would say it really pushes a single 12 Apline TypeE with no issues it didnt really feel warm after a cruise, i bought it mainly for 2 12s DS18 im just waiting for them to come in. But for most part it does really well giving them deep bass once tuned but definitely worth the money!

two channels stopped working just two days past return date. contacted Amazon to do an exchange. What a nightmare. Orion sent me a new email asking question's for three straight days . Finally after that I was emailed a UPS tag and item return number. After Orion had the amp in there hands for over 20 days I sent and email to customer support with all tracking and return numbers looking for a return date. received no response. Contacted Amazon support to see if they could help. All Amazon could do was summit a report to Orion. Not vary helpful.After Orion had the amp in there hands for 30 days I recieved a email with a tracking number from Orion. No other info. They sent me back a amp that was covered in black smoke and dirty finger prints. Not mine! The amp smelled like a wire fire really bad. Now my truck smells like a wire fire. Vary disappointed in this entire experience. Orion sucks.

Decent amp for the money. At this price point I would give 5 stars. However the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it is listed as a 4500 watt amplifier. Look at the fuses and do the math. So while they are quite optimistic about thier output power rating... it is still absolutely plenty for making you deaf. Or better yet, not overdriving it and running a conservative 1200ish watts rms with plenty of headroom and very solid performance. Just run 2 gauge wire so you don't choke it for power, and adequately upgrade your ground and power distribution as you would with any decent install then it will be great. I've had high dollar stuff in my cars in the past. This amplifier is on par with something you'd pay a grand for in 2001. Not top shelf but of very good quality for the price. Not unlike the peak output power claims, the ranges on the filters are not labeled precisely accurate although they do work well. Just tune by ear and pay no attention to the numbers. It will work out better than anything else you will get for less than $200. Overall very good product for the money if you install it correctly and tune it well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent quality budget amplifier.

This is worth your money to push two twelves without worrying that you’ll blow them out I love this thing glad I bought it but wish I’d have bought this exact brand with The 4000 watts instead ty

It works great but did not come with the remote bass knob like advertised.
