Nice quality and good fit
I used these connectors for an outdoor security camera. I had to join two cat 5 cables to connect to the NVR. The terminal ends for snuggly into the union. The weather proof cover fits well. These can be used without the weather proof covers too.

This is NOT waterproof.
I'm glad I tested it before deployment. As soon as I opened the nut on the back of the connector water spilled out of it all over the counter.

Perfect
Work perfect to attach ethernet cable if running outside. Super easy to slide on cable. Only thing to note is if your cable end had the protective plastic around the jack release it will not fit inside this.

These are awesome. Not the easiest, but really good for connecting wires outdoors.

They work!
Bought four of these for outside TCPIP connections for a Christmas Light Show. Working perfectly! Design well thought out but not made for RJ45 connectors with rubber protectors over them. Must remove the protectors. While taking down the light show I saw that the rubber orings that keep things dry in these connectors, were not standing up to the elements very well. Most have lots of tiny cracks all around on the orings. If I have too, I’ll probably replace them with formal plumbing type orings.

Absolute Junk
These are designed to be waterproof, but they are too small for exterior cables. Ended up using one of these and had to cut all of the boot off the cable to get it to go into the connector. Absolute Junk!

Cat6 won’t click
Cat 6 will not click into place. Cat6 will lose signal, because it will not click into place.
