Worth the money spent

My daughter has an extremely sensitive stomach and is one of the few with constipation issues so I've looked and tried every sort of food you can think of. This is the absolute best for a million reasons; the flavor is great even if your kid doesn't like vegetables the pear balances it perfectly, it's made of clean ingredients, it's very forgiving on the stomach, it's great for an on-the-go snack and MOST importantly is its not just an empty snack! A lot of the pouches are just fillers with 1g of fiber (or less!) and usually less than a gram the protein. With my daughters stomach issues, I like to make whatever she eats count. Just the one pouch has 4g of fiber and 2g of protein! You absolutely cannot beat that and it's great knowing of course she's getting a good amount of vegetables in on top of it! It's just sweet enough I can offer it as a breakfast snack and vegetable enough to serve next to chicken for dinner. If you couldn't already tell, I love love love this particular flavor. (We eat all sorts of the other plum organics flavors as well and they're all great) 👍👌

These baby food pouches are pretty good. They are a real quick and convenient solution and the contents aren’t bad either. All natural, mostly organic ingredients used to provide a well balanced meal for babies. The food is completely puréed down, no bits or lumps making them suitable for first taste weaning although there is a slight texture to it which is great for introducing texture as well as new tastes to feeding time.I ordered the 12 pack option with 6 each of tomato & chicken pasta and chicken & rice flavours. There is about 10% meat content in each meaty variety and loaded with vegetables. No added sugar, even though there is about 3g per serving, these are naturally occurring.No current value but worked out just under £2 per portion (at the time of ordering) which i think is a bit expensive for a baby meal but since they are long life and used occasionally, they come in handy in an emergency. The only small criticism i have is that i am not keen in the disposable packaging where the lid is recyclable but the pouch is not.

I couldn't get my son passed the first spoon which he spat out and shuddered at the tasteThe chicken and rice has far too much turmeric in and even I winced a little at the bitterness of itThe tomato and pasta is very tomato flavour which is nice but there's the hit of the black pepper which comes as an after taste, and although for an adult it's nice and peppery for a 5 months old child it's too much. He cried after tasting the first spoon because he couldn't get rid of the black pepper taste that lingers. I had to give him mashed potatoes with cucumber afterwards to cool his taste budsBlack pepper Isn't for babies - it's too spicy a taste for them and too much turmeric in the chicken and rice that leaves a bitter aftertaste.These are definitely not for my little one I've had to throw the rest away

These Baby Food Pouches are fantastic! My baby absolutely loves the Tomato Pasta and Rice & Chicken flavors. They are incredibly smooth and heat up quickly, making them perfect for on-the-go parents like me. Plus, the fact that they're Halal and organic gives me peace of mind.

Little ones seems to like them so assume they taste good.We are starting to wean so we are using these alongside some other options which means we only use half each time so we only need 1 pouch a day.Really easy to heat up, we portion out what we need and heat in the microwave but you can heat the whole pouch in some warm water.£1.70 per pouch for 130g, slightly cheaper some of the branded alternatives that come in smaller pouches.

Came altogether in a plastic bag. You get 12 pouches; 6 in tomato pasta chicken flavour and 6 in chicken and rice. 130g in each pouch. They have a nice smooth texture and a good consistency, not too thick or really runny. The current guidelines are for babies to start weaning at 6 months of age, so these pouches are ideal being aimed at 7 months+. Once opened, the lid can be screwed back on and they can be kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours. They are ready to eat. To warm simply stand the pouch in hot water or squeeze into a saucepan and warm through. They can be eaten straight from the pouch, with their easy accessible tip, saving on mess, squeeze onto a spoon or transfer into a bowl and spoon feed. Full of flavour, our little boy enjoyed trying these new mix of flavours and they went down really well. Organic, so you can ensure you're giving your little one the best ingredients possible. They only have 3 months left of the best before date on though; oct 2023, so quite short, okay if they were to be consumed reasonably quickly and not stored. Perfect for both at home or out and about on the go.
