I DEW CARE GET TO THE ROOT

Bought this for my daughter to try as she has psoriasis on her scalp. She said it smells amazing and she has minimal flakes if any and her hair feels amazing. She went from monthly flare ups to one in 3 months. She said it feels cool and stops the burning and flaking.

I struggle with dandruff so I was excited to try this. I have been through my fair share of scalps scrubs, and after first use I think this will be my new favorite. So the instructions say to part your hair and apply the scrub to the scalp , and gently massage down that part line, then create a new part and keep going til your whole head is covered. Now you may think this is crazy amounts of product, but a little goes a long here. I was able to a full part from the front to the back of my head and I think I used like 4-5 drops versus a continuous line of product from the front to the back. You can actually move this product around on your scalp, it has a really low key lather that makes this easy to massage around. The scrub and the salt don't immediately dissolve on your head like some other scrubs. This actually lets you get a good gentle exfoliation. I would say definitely do not use your nails, just use the pads of your fingers. The exfoliation is quite course, so you don't want to use too much pressure and cause any abrasions on the scalp. The scrub also has a very nice cooling sensation. When you are done you add a little bit more water into your hair and you can lather into a shampoo and then rinse away. You will need to rinse thoroughly to get the salt fully out of the roots of the hair. When my hair was dry my roots and scalp looked very very healthy and my scalp felt very healthy too. I am on day 3 since I washed my hair and I have minimal oil and haven't had to use dry shampoo yet. I also do feel like I have less dandruff. My head is usually crazy itchy by this point, but its not so far so I am quite impressed. This is just from one use as well. So I am excited to continue using this product.

Smells horrible and therefore used it only once before throwing it away. Other tea tree oil based scrubs such as Shea, smell better and have a better effect.

I don’t have dandruff but since I don’t wash my hair every day to preserve color and I use a lot of dry shampoo, I get build up. This is a cleanse for my roots and scalp. I don’t use it every week even, only when my scalp gets that tight, itchy congested feeling and this shampoo is like a reset. I have colored dyed blonde hair so I’m super picky about the hair products I use and afraid everything is gonna turn it brassy. This product does strip the roots it’s feels like a clarifying shampoo. I only put it at the roots and let the run off cleanse the rest of the shaft. Let’s just say it doesn’t do anything to enhance my color but it doesn’t make it look horrible either. I use purple shampoo the next shampoo and the color is fine. You have to really brush your hair and get all the tangles out before using this product, it’ll make it easier to section and apply to scalp. I feel like I’m dying in a shadow root. It’s a lot of work and I concentrate my efforts where the build up is the worst, usually my hairline. It smells fresh. I think the price is ok considering I don’t use it often so it’ll last me awhile. Good product that will get scalp squeaky clean.

I love I Dew Care brand so I was excited to try this scrub. Packaging is so cute and the color! Its a good amount of product for the price. Has good ingredients and was surprised it had biotin. Doesn't have a great smell but it is easy to apply. I get a lot of product build up and have to shampoo every other day and even sometimes It still not very clean. This scrub cleansed my scalp just how I wanted without stripping all the oil. It lathered well like a shampoo and I apply directly to the scalp in big sections. I did notice my hair was very dry after but in an hour or so it felt softer. With great ingredient s and actually cleaning my scalp, I will repurchase. Thank you!
