Worked great.
Had a loader cylinder I couldn't get the gland nut off to rebuilt the cylinder with the pliers style wrench I had, ordered this adjustable gland wrench for my 3/4" ratchet and worked great.

Gets the job done, but barely.
It gets the job done, the only complaint i have is that the retaining bolts for the reversable pins are too small and not grippy enough to retain the pins under heavy load at awkward angles. Also, Spill any hydraulic fluid on them and out they go. So plan to replace the retainer screws with longer grade 8 bolts or their metric equivalent, I forgot which one it takes, with normal heads you can torque tight with a wrench. The rest of it is great.

Works as advertised
This works much better than a big pipe wrench for removing hydraulic cylinder caps. Had an old 530 Case backhoe. Rebuilt the loader cylinders last year using a pipe wrench. Rebuilt the hoe end this spring and spent the money for this. It worked so much better than the pipe wrench. Rebuilt 7 cylinders, so have $4 per cylinder in this tool. Worth every penny in the time and effort it saved compared to a pipe wrench. Biggest trick is to tighten the allen screw in the pivot after you get it fitted on the cap.
