This chalkboard easel was exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect for wedding signage. It's not a classic chalkboard, so you cannot use real chalk. I used washable chalk markers, which worked perfectly. I was able to fix / wipe off any minor mistakes. I then sprayed an acrylic sealer to keep it for good. Great product, perfect size. I will definitely be purchasing this again for other events.

Showed up a day late and damaged. Cheap for what I paid. The wood at the top was broken and splintered off. The shipping box was shotty and it probably broke in transit. Regardless, for $60+ bucks, I expected more and I'm VERY disappointed. I really need it for a craft fair in a few days so I'm going to have to do my best to super glue it and put my own hardware on the top of it (instead of the 4 screws that were just tossed into the box loose) with no instructions or pre-drilled locations to attach the back panel to the front. I seriously don't complain much but this is a waste of my money and Amazon should get on their case for a shotty product and shipment solution!

I returned the first one as it arrived broken- very poor packaging. But, I liked the looks of it so much that I ordered another. That one wasn't broken, so now I am quite happy. It is cute! But, don't order it if you need it asap because you might need to try a couple orders to get one that is in one piece. Also, keep in mind, that some care will be needed in handling it.

Cute sign but broke after one use. Screws came out of one hinge and wood split at top. One afternoon is all it lasted before I duct taped the thing together.

I bought this item to use at craft shows. When it arrived, it appeared to have been used and re-sold as new. The board had clearly had chalk on it before. One of the hinges were loose, so we had to break the bottom string to be able to get to the loose screw. It's an ok product. The quality is not worth the price. I would not purchase it again from this seller.

The new definition of worthless. This product lasted less than a month and only used 2-3 times. The screws came out and my husband tried to repair it with wood glue, but as soon as it was set up it cracked again. I loved the way it looked when we first purchased it, but that's the only positive comment that can be made.
