TNE Replacement Game Mic Microphone Boom for Post-2021 2nd Version Wired Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 II Cloud Core Cloud Pro CloudX PS4 Xbox One Nintendo Switch Computer PC Gaming Headsets

I am using the HyperX Cloud II headphones, and recently came in need of a replacement mic. For those seeking a basic summary: This microphone does its job, does it well, and holds the same quality of sound that the factory-supplied microphone does. One week into use now, and I have been a bit careless unfortunately with my headphones. A few drops, being a bit rough when moving the microphone away from my mouth for whatever reason. In spite of this, I see no damage, no loss of tension and strength in the mic's connector, and no evidence of the jack connection being any weaker. The voice quality, both in playback to myself and when in calls or chats with others, has been noted as being just as good as the factory issue microphone. A few small notes, mildly good and mildly meh. The good: The little foam boom filter seems to be a bit more easily adjusted than the HyperX Cloud II standard issue mic, good for if it gets pushed out of place by this or that and needs to be fixed back to it's normal position. Also, while it's been a long time since first getting the headset, the firmness and strength of the- uh, adjustable wire, cable... thing, connecting mic to headset actually seems a bit firmer than the factory issue. This company seems to be a smaller group or brand, perhaps even one or two people, but gives simple and clear instructions on how to request a replacement or refund should the mic be defective. The meh: The piece does not slot absolutely perfectly into the headset's indentation for it, thus making a small little gap. Possibly detrimental for those who use this headset in areas that are very dusty, but I honestly don't see that happening. More 'meh' for those with OCD-like tendencies about such issues. None of these are major enough to influence the review, but are worth having little side notes for. 5/5 will purchase again and reccomend! Edit: More than two years later, the microphone is still working without issue. The fit has not deteriorated in this time either. Well worth the money!

Ended up losing my mic, so I ordered a new one (made a mistake by ordering the angled jack so I had to buy the straight). It came the next day, it surprisingly sounds a LOT better than what my original mic sounded like. If I ever ended up losing it again, I’d definitely buy this same one!

Hello all! I recently purchased this microphone for making laptop calls and for gaming, as I misplaced my original mic. I was originally frustrated because this product 'wasn't working' before I had a family member help me out. The microphone itself was fine, my laptop was not recognizing my HyperX headset and this was resolved by using a USB port and the USB switcher that came with my headset instead of just plugging in my headset to the audio jack female. This was never an issue with my previous microphone, but I accept that something beyond my limited tech-knowledge is happening and am simply happy that I have a solution. The quality of this microphone is similar to my original, and it is definitely not perfect but good enough for most things (unless you're like, a streamer). The noise cancellation isn't the best and I can hear my own typing if I'm clicking pretty hard (like when I'm gaming), but otherwise the audio is clear and definitely good for the price. I would recommend this product to someone looking for an average, cheap microphone that gets the job done well enough. Cheers!

I have purchased 2 of this product. Each time it cracks and is scratchy when I talk, which people have said sounds very annoying. It does seem to fit into the headset correctly but the sound quality is very poor.

So I bought this as a replacement for my cloud model as the old mic was getting all bent out of shape, literally. For the cost I mean it works fine with the headset, snug fit and my friends can hear me well. Only downside is this non stop humming it emits. I tried cleaning the jack, re adjusting the line and some light taps to see if I could get it to work right. Still, it hums. I guess you cant beat the original parts, but I was hoping it would be similar quality.

Funciona bastante bien, aun que no es original me ha servido mucho, tiene buena cancelacion de ruido.

Plugged in and worked well. Sound quality not great but as to be expected.

Came exactly as described. It seems to be a universal mic for several HyperX cloud headsets. Anyway it doesn't 100% fit on my headset. It works great! The seller was also very good. I didn't interact with them sans the normal buy/sell relationship but their follow up email as well as the prompt shipping was appreciated.
