This worked great for me. It totally fit the description and worked perfectly. I had a small cracked part on it that was not their fault, the shipper handled it rough during the holiday season and amazon could have packed it better also. As I used it I found the crack caused some leaking over time, so I contacted the manufacturer to try and get just the part. Amazon would have replaced the unit, but they had none in stock at the time. SO after fast responses back and forth with the seller finding they could not replace the smaller part of the unit, they stepped up and shipped me a replacement free of charge. So Thank you very much to Kseniia Timar-z for you help and fast response to my problem.

Easy install...Works like a charm!
I ordered this unit to replace the ice maker for my Kitchenaid Model KSRG25FKSS16 which was not one of the listed model numbers, but after much research I determined it would fit. The install was so easy! 1 screw, 1 push tab, unplug the electrical connector and the unit slides right out. I was done in less than 15 minutes and within another 15 minutes I heard the familiar rush of water filling the ice tray! If you are DIY'er this is the way to go, I'm guessing I saved at least $200 by doing it myself. Thanks, now I'm going to have an ice cold drink!

Easy fix for KitchenAid ice maker problems
Side by side KitchenAid ice maker stopped working. Went on YouTube and tried replacing water vales and clearing inlet tube of ice. Only $17. Did not fix problem. More YouTube and appeared we needed new ice maker. Looked around and price for replacement was low for this unit to triple for OEM. Bought this. Easy to install and worked right away. Still working. Very happy.

What you get
Reviews seem accurate. My old ice maker was metal with plastic coating that was cracking. The new one was plastic and not as big of a heat exchanger. The water drop bucket was too high to fit the water filler, so I had to Dremel one side to allow the tube to fit so it would slide in. Ice was much more consistent in size that before which is good. I did reuse the electrical cable from the old ice maker. It’s working just fine for the last few days.

Works great
My old icemaker was jamming up because the ice mold was all corroded. This icemaker was a breeze to install and making lots of ice. New ice mold is hard plastic instead of pot metal.

Stops working after a short time!
Thought it was a great replacement at first. Made ice right away but then stopped working altogether after only a couple of months.

Direct fit!
Product worked great and was a direct fit. For my refrigerator I had to take the old ice maker off of the base and mount this to the base in order to have it fit correctly. Pretty self explanatory after looking at it but no instructions that explicitly said so. Otherwise my mom now has a working ice machine and loves it!
