Beware polarity of plastic knobs
Good product and good value. However, I found that the colored plastic connectors were fastened incorrectly. The black "cap" was connected to the center pin of the BNC connector and the red "cap" was connected to the ground side of the BNC connector. The fix was easy. Just reverse the cap connections. Would advise checking that the caps are installed properly.

Good quality construction, smooth operation.
These adapters look and feel to be great quality and I expect to get many years of service with them. The BNC part locks onto the mating connector smoothly and easily. An earlier reviewer stated that the spacing between the banana jacks is different from the "standard" 3/4 inch. The ones I received are spaced at 3/4 inch. Another mentioned that if the red and black collars are removed, one will not know which is the BNC shell connecton. If one checks closely, one will see a little plastic tab protruding from the side of the housing labled GND on the side that is the banana jack connected to the BNC shell, normally the black collar.I'm very pleased with the adapters and would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of hardware.

0.74" spacing
Works fine with wires, haven't tested it with banana plugs. The BNC connector appears to be well-made and operates smoothly. The binding post nuts were straight rather than tapered as pictured, so there may be some variation. It's possible to remove the nuts entirely, but the resulting polarity confusion can be resolved by a tab on the body which marks the “GND” side.Since it's not mentioned in the description and it seems to be of interest, I'll also note that I measured the spacing between posts, and as best I can tell it is 0.74 inches center-to-center. I don't have any double banana plugs to test the fit with.I have not done any tests of its electrical characteristics.

Works fine
Works fine. Not bad fit and finish for the price. The only hiccup I had was that with the plastic nuts on I couldn't insert the shrouded DVM leads into the end. There looked like enough clearance, but they didn't fit. With the plastic nuts removed they slid in just fine. I'm using this connector to connect DVM leads to my oscilloscope and it worked great for that.

This BNC to Dual Post Adapter is great for my QRP Rig
I bought an Elecraft KX3 and needed one of these to attach to the side of the radio so I could run a wire up to a tree and the ground side with a wire lying on the ground... simple antenna that works with the tuner in the radio. Well made and easy to attach to the radio. High quality... not a cheap adapter like some others. I was afraid it would not hold up but no quality issues here. These adpters are getting impossible to find in my town of 90,000 so Amazon comes through again.

Just what I needed
At first I was not sure this would work for my application, so I thought for the price I would take a chance and see. The problem was that I needed one of these so I could use the plugs as in a multimeter situation with my scopes BNC connector. I found if you remove the binding post screws, the multimeter leads fit perfect. The only problem was the posts are not marked once you remove the screws.I found the correct connections and marked it with red tape. Works fine. Would buy another one.

"Something So Simple, Yet So Hard To Find"
This is an 'old school' connector that is essential for use with an oscilloscope. I used many of them from 1964-1994. Now that everything has gotten smaller, they are hard to find accessories at most places. This was my Introduction to "Dayton Parts Express." Now when I need something special, I go directly to them. Great website, great customer service, and great equipment for any "Audio Experience." Thank You Dayton Parts Express and Amazon for making the introduction.

Does what you want it to and at a good price.
Bought this mostly just to have a handful of random BNC adapters for fielding a KX3 radio, thought this might work well for a long-wire antenna and ground and it does just fine. It's built solidly enough, of very good materials/fit and finish. Archaic banana jacks are threaded, back off to expose through-holes for threading tinned wire leads (I'm using some 16 gauge I had around and am still playing with different lengths/heights). YMMV.
