Boomchat Pro - Covert Music Headphones into Gaming Headphones, Includes Boom mic and Audio Controls

After about a month of working fine without issue, the mic stopped working for seemingly no reason; after many hours of troubleshooting, it seems as if there is no fix. And of course this occurs JUST after the return window is up so I can no longer recieve a refund for this defective product - don't waste your money on this.

I gave this 5 star because of only one reason:This is the cheapest solution to enable me playing Splatoon 2 while chatting with friends.This checks 4 boxes that not many other products can do:- Allows 2 inputs and output to one headset with mic- And one of the inputs is a 3.5mm input- Also takes mic input and passes it to device- Less than $100I tried many products and none of the ones that allows me to do so are less than $100.My current setup is this:plug the USB part to my phone (a USB-A to USB-C adapter is needed), 3.5mm input plugged into my monitor which takes input from Nintendo Switch, and my V-MODA BoomPro mic with SHP9500 through the 4-pole output. This way, I can chat with friends on my phone because Nintendo Switch Online app is there and other chat apps, and I can hear whatever is happening in game in quite good sound quality.No the sound of this adapter is not super good. I've done some test and I can tell it's just good enough to avoid all the bad things. There's no background hissing and everything sounds right. And no the included mic is just terrible. But that's basically all the bad things about it.I highly recommend this to all friends playing Splatoon 2 or anything that you play with friends remotely on Nintendo Switch.

I'm not sure if I received a defective device, but the game volume knob doesn't even work for PS4, and any headset plugged in receives very low audio. I also hear static and others hear it as well when I speak.

I needed to get a boom mic for work as my other mic was brushing against my shirt.This boom mic is amazing! I hooked it to my Beats by Dre headset and it works perfectly!Highly recommend!
