At least the sandalwood one smells absolutely horrific. And it just gets worse and worse as it dries down. When you first put it in it, just kind of smells like a really fake sandalwood, but fast forward an hour, and it starts to really wreak. I have a fairly long beard and have used this brand before. In fact, I had the vanilla one before this and it smells more like cotton candy than vanilla, but at least it’s still smells good. I just ordered another vanilla one and I’m probably just gonna toss this one out, as I have many other beard oils..I like with this does to my beard, though, it is a bit greasy, but not as bad as others. I notice it make my beard fuller instantaneously. And after using consistently for a few weeks, I notice some of the patchy areas start to fill in. That is why I continue using this product along with taking biotin supplements, it is very effective for beard growth. I am in my late 30s now and I still have areas of problems in my beard just like most men do. For the price, maybe this is a couple bucks more than a normal beard oil and you’re getting a lot more out of it as it really does work you just have to be consistent with it. Don’t expect it to work overnight. However, like I said, if you do have a thicker beard, you will notice it to be more full just after one use. Although most beard oils do this when you have a thick enough beard.

The product is great! I have a pretty massive viking style beard and one syringe of this oil covers it all! My wife absolutely loves the vanilla smell. She slept basically face first in my beard last night.I gave it 5 stars bc I truly like the product. I am wondering about the (pack of 2) in the product description. I thought I was purchasing two bottles of oil and received only one. I have no actual use for the razor comb thing but it seems like a great idea for those with patchy beards.Thank you for a wonderful product! I’ll return again!

So i havent tried any other brands. After using this i dont feel the need to. This does give a bit of a greasy look after applied which i dislike. However by midday it definitely absorbs into the beard and leaves it much softer and less coarse feeling. I find this is a necessity as waking up in the morning my beard is a wreck after sleeping all night on it. It does a great job to sorta style it. I also use one of Striking Vikings wood combs. Side note, the scent of this is great. It has a good cologne smell to it but by no means is it overwhelming.Update: so the 1st one i ordered was fine. Looked/worked great. The 2nd one was completely gritty and unusable. Set it aside and ordered a new one......showed up just the same,gritty. Couldn't find how to contact the seller as i didnt want to leave a negative review for something that may have just been a bad batch? So took the lid off and stuck it on a wax warmer and melted it down again. Once completely melted, took it off to cool and looks like the 1st one i ordered. Im assuming there was maybe a bad batch of them but this seems to fix it.

Let me start by saying I’ve had a beard over 12inches long for 5 years now going on 6 soon. From the beginning I was using another brand heavily sold on Amazon and wanted to try another brand to help thicken my beard a bit. I used This product for 6 mouth to give it a honest try. My beard has shedded horribly every time I brush it hair some out. I will now longer use this brand and will tell other to avoid it. My beard will probably take the next year to recover from this. I feel like the oil feels chemically to the touch do yourself a favor and by Honest Amish instead!!!!!
