I don't have much space between my toilet and sink cabinet and, for years, have fought a round stainless steel trash can in that spot. It didn't fit, the lid always hit the toilet when you opened it, you had to tip it then pull it out to get it out of the spot to change the liner and empty it, etc. This might be a little TMI, but not only did it not fit well, it was corroding due to splash from the toilet. The bleach in the water from tank cleaning tablets and urine itself (yes, urine splashes as you know but don't want to admit) when you use the toilet rusted the can. It is corrosive. This plastic cleans very easily and will not corrode. The size and shape is perfect for what I need it for as well. It actually holds more trash than the round can did too, so I empty it less often. The oblong shape fits objects better like used toothbrushes, deodorant cans, etc. It was easy to put together, it is easier to load with those plastic bags from the grocery store for a liner (I know you use those too), and the lid works great. And the way it is designed, you don't see the bag liner sticking out of the can. I wish I had gotten rid of the old one a long time ago. I might order another one for the other bathroom.

Perfect for a narrow space. I used this in our camper because it fits perfectly in the TINY bathroom, between the toilet and the wall. Love the design with the lift off cover because the trash bag is completely hidden and doesn’t stick out around the top rim like many trash cans. Simple and sleek design and the push/spring top works great. Only thing I’d recommend is to tell visitors how to open it because I had someone pry it open, not realizing all you need to do it push down on the top to make it pop open when they pried it open, they busted the little plastic “pin” off where the latch mechanism catches to keep it closed. I had to buy a whole new trash can because of that, but I did buy the same one. It does come with an extra latch, but that’s not what got broken.

I just looked at a follow-up message sent by manufacture about some possible issues that other buyers have had.I have had NO ISSUES with product / lid and am very happy. Fit perfect between toilet and bathtub.I would buy this item again !!!

It traps smells and contains trash well. When picking up the whole unit, it has be to lifted up from the bottom. The front and sides are one whole piece that slides up off of the actual trashbin, so don't expct to life it up off the floor from the sides or ends.To open the lid, press down on the little notch and let it pop up. To close, press down and it catches so that it closes. Good idea over all, just looks a little cheap for the price.

I like that it hides the grocery bag handles. To change the bag, you life the entire top part off, put in new bag, and slide entire top part back on. It looks very modern minimalist, keeps cat/dog out of bathroom trash, and enables the reuse of grocery bags in an aesthetic way (hides the handle tuck!)

We use this in the kitchen for gathering kitchen scraps to be added to the compost. I have a second one in the bathroom to use as a trash can. Both perform very well and are convenient especially when you have a handful of vegetable scraps to go into the compost.

Everything works and it is, in fact, dog proof! I was skeptical... our giant German Shepherd can get into just about anything... except this! :)

I bought this for my bathroom because the pups keep getting into the trash. The first one I bought lasted about a year and the hinges broke. I’m giving it one more shot because the one my daughter bought has lasted way longer. Hoping the one was just defective.

I love these garbage cans! I use them in all my bathrooms now because they keep my dog out! Nice and clean looking, fits in nicely beside my toilets making it very convenient. :)

The latch is fragile, but 2 extras were enclosed . I really like the small size and shape.

I was hesitant to get this trashcan because it was plastic. But it is well-made, and the thin profile fits into the tight space I needed it to. I’m glad I bought it.
