Are these soft or do they chafe?

Great question. 
PowerGas Absorbers and SilentlyFresh Filters are soft and Hypoallergenic, however placing them next to sensitive skin touching your anus with no topical ointment or lotion may cause mild discomfort or irritation. DiscreetZ recommends using salve or lotion of your choice, sparingly, use too much and you may lose some effectiveness. 
One of the keys to effective use is placing your filters and absorbers directly at the source of intestinal gas being released. 
Tighter underwear helps hold your filter/absorber in place, so all gas is filtered.

Taping these filter/absorbers to size 52" BVDs is an option that may help slightly but it is mostly ineffective since stinky intestinal gas escapes loudly in all directions and allows foul gas to avoid filtering and absorption. Our team has been hard at work with manufacturing and shipping for the restock of S-30s and S-12s my estimate of availability is now early in March 2023 for S-30 and May of 23 for S-12.
FYI - We had a large inferior quality shipment sent to DiscreetZ not meeting the high quality we required to match the quality S-12s and S-30s our customers have come to expect when purchasing. Hence, we pulled these from Amazon and other channel’s sales immediately, costing DiscreetZ considerably in sales and the new inventory cost which must now be destroyed.
