Dorman 76897 Headlight Knob Kit Universal Fit

I bought it for my 79 dodge d150 truck due to the switch needing a longer knob. This one was to long but was easily cut to the correct length. The only issue I had was that the bezel the headlight knob switch rod went through was to small and I had to drill the bezel but overall it was an easy instal and works great now.

Perfect replacement for a broken light knob for my 1998 mustang GT. Easy to install I didn't need the bar it came with, fit on the stock metal rod great and looks so much better then original knob. Cheaper then AutoZone and O'Reillys

Easy to install and works great. Needed a knob for my headlights on my 1987 F150. Did not use the supplied shaft, just put the knob on my existing switch-shaft and tightened the allen set screw (allen wrench was provided).

I bought this to replace the headlight knob for my '93 Ford F-250 that fell off into the nether. I liked this knob over the others available because it has a screw that holds it on to the metal shaft, instead of a clip. It meant I could reuse the metal shaft I already had and didn't have to try to contort my hand behind the dash to push the button to release it. The knob holds well and looks okay. I would have given it five stars had they not just thrown the knob in with the metal shaft and the metal allen wrench so that it gets all scratched up before you get it. If you see the pictures I took, that's straight out of the package. So if you're planning to use this for your classic show car, be aware that you'll probably have to paint it to make it look nice. But for my beat up old truck, it doesn't matter.

Very easy to use and replace worn out or missing OE knobs. Worked perfectly on both wiper and headlight control switches.
