A good buy
Any photographer who owns a DSLR and does not have a filter set yet should consider getting this filter set. For the price it sells at, I was astonished by the quality of the filters. The overall build feels good and sturdy, and it does not feel like a cheap quality ones you get at the local camera shop. For the UV filter, it is great as a general protection for your lens against frontal elements, such as scratches and scruffs. It doesn't really affect your picture quality but if it gets scratched, it would magnify the blemish. For the CPL filter, it is great and the ring does not have any problems rotating. The rotation is smooth and does not require much effort. As claimed, it does alter the light and performs to what a polarizer does. For the price of which the set is going for, you should definitely get it, even if it just means getting it for the CPL filter. It is worth it.For the Fluorescent light filter deem it useless if you are using a film camera as normal digital SLR nowadays do not have a green tinge when taking a photo. Therefore, there is no need for the filter. In fact, the filter adds more trouble than it is worth. It adds a purplish tint to your image, instead of correcting supposed green tints, if there was any. Probably going to keep it in the filter bag, lest my lens cover gets lost, then I would have a spare for the time being.A great value for money buy, and I do not regret buying the UV and CPL filters at all. I recommend you to buy it if you do not have a filter set and are looking for a cheaper alternative to more expensive brands like Hoya. However, one must take note of the photos that were used in the product description are not 100% accurate, I feel that they are widely exaggerated. With these filters, it does not replicate such effects as shown in the photos.Hope this helps! Cheers.

Wonderful and invaluable for the money.
I ordered this filter kit only two days ago as a last addition to my order and it arrived yesterday before anything else. Just that alone was impressive. As I pulled the small box from its Amazon shipping case, I did notice that the box was not glued properly and thus unfolded itself. I proceeded to read the back for information and noticed a good amount of informative content, but there were multiple typographical errors including a lack of spaces between words. That was a bit disconcerting as it was reminiscent of a counterfeit product. However, upon opening the package up and taking out these new lens filters, I was surprised to discover a free filter case! As I continued to unfurl this nice bonus, my three filters flopped into view, carefully wrapped and placed in their own little pockets. After relieving them of their plastic film, just holding these you can definitely tell the quality you receive for your buck. Every filter was clearly labeled and fabricated out of nice metal rings and glass lenses. Of the three, I found the circular polarizer to be incredibly invaluable for any photographer who despises annoying reflections or hazy daylight landscapes. This filter smoothly rotates and doesn't slip as you shoot. The UV filter acts as a great basic filter for everyday shooting to clarify photos and protect your precious glass beneath. They all fit snugly and using the fluorescent filter will cut through any ugly green or blue color castes you might find shooting indoors, especially with everyone switching to CCFL bulbs. I would recommend this to any beginner, intermediate, or even advanced shooter. Just remember, like all filters, they only work well when you properly compensate for lighting changes and adjust your white balance so the auto won't counteract the filter effects.

Excellent value for the money--and it works!!
I bought this primarily to have some throw away lens protectors--heck, at this price, it was worth a try. So far, I have used the UV and CPL lenses. After reading reviews, I was about to toss the CPL filter. Then I tried it. I absolutely can not agree with the reviewers who said the CPL made the images fuzzy, soft or out of focus. I was able to shoot some landscape shots, all with a minute of each other, with the CPL at three settings, and one shot with it off. First, it did not impact the image quality at all in terms of sharpness. Second, the CPL effect was quite good. Depending upon the rotation, I was able to make some clouds either visible, or completely disappear. You do have to fiddle with it to get the right balance between contrast an color, but it works, which is all I care about for that price. I was using the Nikon 18-55 kit lens, and all shots were taken as RAW to ensure maximum fidelity when comparing photos. If you get this, and your shots are fuzzy, then make sure your stuff is clean. Otherwise, send it back for another--you got a bad one.The UV filter is pretty lightweight, and seems to work fine--I did not detect any glint or glare. It is not the highest quality UV filter, but it does $12 filter job #1: keeps my lens clean and protected. I haven't played with the florescent filter, but that usually can be adjusted on camera in white balance anywho.BTW, mine was packaged as Polaroid brand. I know they aren't the name they were in photography, but I still got a chuckle seeing it.Now I just need to find them in other sizes...
