Most pork pies nowadays are dry? This isn't.
I used to love pork pies? but since the butchers deceided to take the jelly out of the pie's ( It totally ruined the taste of the pork pies making them DRY and without taste? HORRIBLE ). Why did they do this is beyond me? I gave this pork pie a try-and it was pretty good and moist tasting, probably the best tasting pork pie i have tasted since the butcher's deceided to ruin the taste of quality pie's as I used to know from days gone past?. Melton Mowbray pork pie's used to be outstandingly good year's ago-now maybe they are setting a trend to get back to how they used to be? ( Hope so )?.

Pork pie. Yum yum.
It's a pork pie. You know what a pork pie is. Is it healthy? Of course it's not. It's a pork pie. Does it have a delicious water crust pastry? Oh yes. Is it full of indeterminate grey meat? Oh yes. It is delicious? Oh yes indeed. I've now bought this on many occasions, and will continue to do so, because i love a pork pie. I hope you found this review helpful.

Satisfactory but that certain crunch missing
When you bite into a really good Melton Mowbray pork pie there is a certain texture and crunch to the pastry, an undefinable pleasure, and it is missing here.

Very nice, not dry but a small pork pie did not realise size until arrived in order.

Dreadful
Even by supermarket pork pie standards this one's bad. Pale, grey, flavourless meat, wrapped in soggy pastry, with no jelly but certainly plenty of gristle. Swerve at all costs!
