Installed & Works Great - But See Review...
The product was great, well packaged, but there are some things to know! First, do not damage the fully detachable display cable from the old screen. Remove it and keep it for the new screen. Also, try to retain the covers for the 2 speakers, one on each side towards the top of the screen. Otherwise, your replaced screen will show 2 metallic sets of holes in the notches for the speakers. The cable connectors can be tricky, including the one for the power supply. You need the right type & size of screwdriver. In addition, there is a very small spacer circuit board that fits between the main board and connector. Make sure to not lose it & note its orientation, this is critical.Snap the snap-in connectors in place very carefully, ensuring they line up correctly. You should feel/hear it "click" into place. Screw in the connector end, making sure to line up the screw absolutely vertically. Very fine tweezers designed for electronics can be used to hold the screw to get it started. Be careful to not let the screwdriver slide off, it could damage the circuits around the connectors. Before putting things back together, boot up the tablet to make sure everything works. Lean the screen against something so you can see it & be careful to line it up to not put extra strain on the cables.I also reused the metal flange from the old screen that covers the snap-in connector on the screen. I used Gorilla Tape to hold the connector on the screen in place first, as it is easy to disengage it. I then used Gorilla Tape to hold the flange in place.I also used Gorilla Tape for the connector from the screen to the main board, the one that does not have a screw-in mechanism on the main board. (The other end of that cable is essentially bonded to the screen).Verify everything still works before sealing it all up:Apply some form of double-sided electronic device tape to just the outer edge of the shell, all around. Be careful to not cover the microphone, camera & privacy light at the top middle of the shell. Very carefully & gently lower the new screen onto the shell. Using your fingers as guides, make sure everything lines up before pressing the screen in place. You don't want to risk breaking the new screen disengaging it from the wrong tape contact points.Verify everything still works!

My experience could not have been easier
Screen is direct swap replacement. Unplug broken screen, plug in this screen. (assuming you restored SSD after removing it) Plug in power cord (USB or Surface plug) and test. Works great, touch works great, pen work great.Adding to the only other review, order about 5 feet of 2mm tape. You can also use about 2 feet of 3mm tape. This is double what you need, it doesn't take much. You have enough to make a mistake or change your mind. Remove mistakes and do it over. Once you have the old monitor removed and SP9 cleaned. Put replacement tape in place leaving adhesive backing on. This makes testing a new screen and sticking it in place a smoother process.

Amazon won't even send me a third to try.
My first one arrived packed well, but seemed previously opened. No adhesive was included. Screen worked but touch functionality didn't. Returned for a replacement, this one came better sealed, with tape around the screen ect. Still no adhesive. This screen worked too, and even touch... except for a solid 2 inch wide section on the right side of the screen. Better, but definitely not a functional replacement. I figured i'd say the third time is the charm, but Amazon just refunded me. I guess we've gotta keep hunting for a competent replacement.

Excellent product and value, especially because it includes the touch controller
Top stars for these guys on the packing. The screen quality is excellent. It includes the touch-sensor controller but not the shield covers. It also includes precisely cut double-sided adhesive tape to restick the screen to the case. However, it is very tricky to install because it runs the length of each side of the screen, and there are no spares if you make a mistake. So take your time.Make sure you clean off all the old adhesive tape before you apply the new ones.

Very happy with this product!
Adhesive was precisely cut. Install was easy. Removal of the cracked screen is hard part, you need a heat gun to get the old screen loosened up, a hair dryer might work as well. Look out for flying shards of glass, wear eye protection! The screen worked as soon as I powered it up. No dead spots and touch worked great from corner to corner. Overall satisfied.Attached the adhesive to the screen then tested. Exposed the backing from the adhesive once it tested out then pressed the screen in place. Perfect fit.

Excellent screen
I ended up cracking my screen a 2nd time over a year later. I have a surface pro 3. I ordered the same one, arrived quickly and in careful packaging. Very quick delivery for a good price.

Good Screen Replacement and Packaging
The screen came packaged extremely carefully with plastic corner pieces to keep the screen from moving during shipping, the screen and the touchscreen worked without fuss as well, adhesive was easy to put on.This screen is a very good replacement, no dead pixels, touch screen worked immediately. So if I have more Surface devices to fix, I would buy another from this seller if they keep up with the packaging as some sellers wouldn't do this amount of protection from shipping damage.EDIT: Unfortunately, after 2-3 weeks, a certain section on the right side of the screen became unresponsive to touch, the screen still shows a image but the touchscreen functionality is now only half working. I've attempted calibration within Windows that I could try and even resetting the Surface and doing a fresh Windows install, and none of it worked, which is very disappointing. This is for the correct Surface model that we put the screen in so it shouldn't have issues like this. The only problem with it is just the touchscreen, otherwise the display still functions with showing a image, so I dropped it to three stars due to the defective touchscreen and I'm not the only one with this issue.
