Excellent quality foam for couch cushions!
Purchased this foam for the purpose of restuffing the back cushions on a couch. Old cushions were sagging and lumpy, this new foam is an excellent replacement. It’s quite firm, which was the desired result, and provides good back support. Cut easily with a serrated kitchen knife. Wrapped foam in upholstery batting and secured with safety pins, was an easy and effective fix!

great product
Order an expensive outdoor couch, and after a year the stuffing lost all of its body. I looked into buying new cushions, and to having them re-stuffed. Both costs were outrageous. I ordered this (x2) and did it myself. It was wonderful. Easy to cut (used an electric kitchen knife), and now the couch is the most sought after seat of the summer!

Serves the purpose of replacing a couch cushion.
Not the firmest foam, but good enough to replace the cushion on an old couch. My friends’ Dogs destroyed a cushion on my couch and instead of replacing the individual I purchased this. In the name of progress, I purchased a slipcover as well. Now, you cannot tell that I have a Frankenstein couch. The foam served its purpose and this rarely used couch is usable again.

Firm - perfect for seat cushion, maybe too firm for seat back
I bought this to replace the main seating foam for a sagging 10 year old CB2 love seat. When it arrived I was a little worried it would be too squishy - it felt similar to the old foam. But I put it into the cushion cover, and it's great - much more supportive, really brought it back to life. Might be too firm for a seat back. It was longer than the love seat, but easy to trim with a blade/boxcutter. A bit pricey for a piece of foam but worth it in my opinion.

Very dense and firm
I bought this to put in between two twin beds that I pushed together. I was left with an area that would sink no matter what I filled it with. My husband laid some 2x4's flat that rested between the frames of the beds. He then stood a few boards on their sides and then placed more flat ones on top to it build up. I then place this foam in between the beds and it is so sturdy and the bed now stays flush with the two mattresses. Use a hack saw or a bread knife to cut the foam. It was a tad bit expensive but I priced it out at JoAnn Fabrics and even with a 50% coupon it still beat JoAnn's price.

Strong chemical odor...
This is definitely what I needed in terms of depth and length for our refinished sofa. However, the foam seems to have quite a strong chemical like smell. I thought it would go away in a aboit a day or so but it's in the cushion cover and still smelly.I am happy with the product but the smell was really unexpected. Going to try airing it out outside.

seems sturdy
Very pleased with this purchase. Some reviewers mentioned a smell, but I'm happy to say that right out of the box, this was not an issue for me, although I did leave it air out for 5 days anyway as a precaution. I used it to extend the life of my couch and so far seems to support my weight quite well. I needed to shorten the length to 64". which was very easy to do using an electric knife held at a 90 degree angle. The hand cut edge admittedly has some imperfections, but also not an issue as the cut edge faces the inside arm of the couch and was hidden when I covered the foam with fabric.

Separate reviews for firm/density levels.
It's way too firm. The product is fine and functions as described, however, they need to separate reviews for each firm/density levels. It's difficult to understand after reading and re reading reviews which actual product reviewers purchased. Now I have a chair that is so uncomfortable and either needs replacement or I have to order new foam.
