My dogs really like this dog food, and it seems to have good ingredients.

I have two labs, one of which is picky so I don't bother giving him this. No reflection on the product.I actually bought this for my sweet baby girl, his older lab sister who has terminal cancer at just 7 years of age. The prednisone she is on has really upped her appetite, and so I wanted additional food items to work with. I like that this is comprised of 95% beef and liver, and the remaining 5% is fruits, veg, healthy carbs. I am not aiming for grain free, not even aiming for low carb, but the ratio seemed good for her needs. The texture is an ultra smooth pate which works very well for using in licky mats, kongs, and for hiding her medications in. We also like Purina Beyond High Protein Pate. Instinct has always served us well over the years, and so I wanted to give this a whirl. So far so good

The dog ate it without getting sick.

I have looked a long, long, long time for a dog food that has ALL the ingredient's I have researched my dog needs, without the hassle of storing fresh, transporting fresh and all the other problems with fresh. Please, I needed a dog food that has all the suggested ingredients (artichoke, clay) in a can that I can store and feed without any possible spoilage. Finally! This Instinct canned dog food has it ALL!!! Read the ingredients, yes indeed, my dog loves it, also a check, looks and smells like you would be able to eat yourself--yes and well, yes if I had no option. It is a big GO for me and my dog. Yes she is a picky little princess.

Only 8ozs! - not 13oz as labeled on can. Sent Instinct photos and they are aware of issues but wont take action to correct it.

i recently received my auto refill order and when i went to remove one of the cans from the carton I found it was crushed and the top was expanded. At $4 plus dollars a can I had to throw this one away and hoping none of the rest of the 2 cases are like this.

My dog is crazy about this food. This is the only of several different brands of canned beef dog food that she always eats all of it. I mistakenly thought it was a case of 12, but I may just get more anyway and just give it to her occasionally along with her more reasonably-priced food.
