Works right out of the box.
Purchased vixen air horns, the original solenoid developed an internal leak. Replaced it with another solenoid from vixen, which was a mistake. It failed immediately. This new solenoid seems to be holding up fine, made in the USA. Plus it sends more volume air to the air horns. Very happy with this purchase.

Worth it.
Worked right away, no leaks up to 200psi and came with a perfect mounting bracket. Compared to the 2 cheaper ones I had to deal with, this one is what I should have purchased from the beginning.

Works great!
This thing works great. I used it with a 150 psi onboard air system I put in. I used the relay and horn that came with the linked kit. Which is also awesome in its own right. But better with this and a compressor. There IS a direction indicator on this part. It’s cast in the brass under the chrome bracket. Remove two philips screws to see it. I attached a valve after it so I can turn horn off so I don’t deafen vehicle inspectors etc. I’ll update this if the solenoid ever fails.GAMPRO 12V 150db Air Horn, 18... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QXQ9HW9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Buy it! It’s an A+ valve for car air horns.
Boy at 160 psi the valve opens with ease and puts out a bunch of air. I have it powering three of the largest Grover air horns, the biggest being a 36” long trumpet. It puts out more than enough air for all three horns at once. I’ll not only be cleaning the dirt off of my fenders but also the cars next to me too. I ran 3/8” poly flo tubing to the horns. Highly recommended and doesn’t seem to leak off pressure at all. Time will tell.

but I like it so far
The valve is well built, opens and closes fast, I haven't had it in operation very long, but I like it so far. The valve was mot marked inlet / outlet, it will not hold pressure if installed backwards, easy enough the turn it around, so don't panic and call it bad, <grin>
