Apple Late 2019 MacBook Pro with 2.6GHz Intel Core i7, 16 inch, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD Space Gray (Renewed)

NOTE: this review is preliminary as I received it and have played with it for 20 minutes. 1. Received it quickly. 2. Appearance is like a new product. 3. Started up after I let the battery charge for a few minutes. No problems thus far, connected to wifi and can surf. 4. I was pleasantly surprised to see the build date was dec 2020. 5. Charger is 3rd party. Overall, thus far, I couldn't have asked for more. It's almost like there is a catch waiting for me (I have zero faith in humanity anymore). If you want to save a ton and don't need the latest and greatest I wouldn't hesitate. I bought this for my senior mother and although I'm a Windows related engineer, I may buy one for myself for something to drink coffee and read the news with as Macintosh is stupid easy to use. A break form Windows would be a nice thing. Peace out.

It took hours of sitting on the charging cord to realize they’d sent me a faulty cord, so I used my old cord and it started up but the computer is so glitchy, errors every time I try to do anything, won’t let me sign into Apple ID and the power key is broken. Complete piece of garbage and it’s going back

4 out of 5 laptops purchased worked without issues. 1 laptop had a trackpad that wouldn't click. I had to take out the trackpad and found there was dried sticky stuff underneath. Alcohol cleaned it up without issues and now the trackpad clicks without issues. Non-IT people wouldn't be able to do that, which sucks. All of the laptops have some scuffed display edges and noticeable scratches on the display lid. It's a bit more than I'd like. But everything works. 4 -5 stars since one laptop had to be taken apart.

Just as described, the computer was in excellent condition. The battery had only 84 charge cycles, and there were a couple of tiny dings on the edges, but nothing significant. The keys looked like they had never been touched, in impeccable condition, with no scratches on either the back or the front. I’m more than happy with the purchase. The only detail, which doesn’t lower the quality of the product itself, is that the charger was defective. It wasn’t a problem for me since I had other chargers at home, but it’s something to consider if someone else wants to buy it. Other than that, an excellent purchase. I also wanted to wait a few weeks after using it to write this review to check its performance, and honestly, I have zero complaints.

Not a bad product for the price

Aparentemente todo marcha bien. Apenas la estoy empezando a usar y todo funciona correctamente, el teclado nítido, la huella funciona. Lo unico es que hay señas de stickers en la tapa pero es cosa mínima. Actualizaré más adelante.

This arrived with no signs of life but the exterior physical condition was really nice. A lovely corpse. Straight out of the box, no lights, no sounds. I plugged it in using the supplied charger (which worked when I tested it on another Mac we have) for 1/2 hour. Red battery icon briefly came on but then disappeared. Black screen. No sound. The return was a hassle. Had to drive to a place to get the return label printed then find a UPS store to return it. Also, this item had the seller listed as Chrome Source (whose customer service was very nice and helpful) when I bought it but was later changed to KOJAK after I made inquiries. I am assuming "Amazon Renewed Store" just sends the order to the nearest seller to the buyer for a similar item to be shipped in the least amount of time. So don't think you are getting the actual item described which is why it is stock photos in the item description and not the actual one you'll be getting. Don't think these items are tested before being shipped out. If it had worked, I would have been happy with it.

Works fine and everything is good but the keyboard is not a regular English keyboard it has some strange letters which are not so bad but the letter “i” is giving me a headache because there is another letter “i” that doesn’t have the little point on top, first I thought it was the same letter but then I realize it’s not the same letter(password wasn’t working)… i’ll keep the laptop since I really need but probably look for other options
