Good for the Price
Okay, this is a good kit for the price. I think this will work just fine for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a really good kit, but then you could argue that when it comes to life or death you shouldn't go cheap. I found this to be just fine. The number one thing to remember if bitten by a snake, keep your blood pressure low. Don't panic and certainly don't run to safety. That helps the blood to transport the poison more quickly. So If you feel that you can keep your cool in such a situation, then this kit is just fine. I will give a Pros and Cons list as to why I say thatPros- These suctions do hold well to areas of the body that are not hairy. I will cover more on that in the Cons list- It is small and compact so you can put it in your pocket if your going on a light hike or it will not take up a lot of room if you have a small pack. However you look at it, it is small and compact.- It has a scalpel, sterile wipes, instructions(I would recommend reading before you need to use it)and string to compress the area as a tourniquet.- It consists of three suctions. Two big and one small.- It appears to be water tight although I have not tried to submerge it in waterCons- It will not hold very long if there is any hair in the way of the suction.- You will need to add a razor of some sort to your kit or backpack or whatever, to shave any area that has hair before use.- The string provided is not adequate for use as a tourniquet. You need to add a lot of pressure when using a tourniquet. A tourniquet has to be loosed every 10-15 minutes to allow blood flow so as not to kill any tissue. this string may cut into the skin and if it does not, it certainly will be very uncomfortable while in use. I would recommend using an actual tourniquet or a piece of clothe like a sleeve or even a bandanna or something. I personally will add one my tourniquets that I still have from my time as a combat lifesaver in the US ARMY and some 550 cord. both are great choices. and you can buy good tourniquets here on Amazon for little to nothing. So I have added a few pics. One will show the two larger suctions in use on my arm. They were in place for around two minutes. You can see the area is red from the blood rushing from the pressure. So I am sure that If I had a puncture wound there from a bite, it would have drawn out blood and hopefully enough poison to prevent any serious damage. The other pics are to show the size and the contents. I really this helps. I only gave it three stars because I will have to improve upon it but that's only by my choice and based on my opinion. Again, If you know how to act in a snake bite situation and the protocol needed to get to safety, then this will do just fine for you.

I bit expensive but good to have
Perfect for First Aid kits and BugOut Bags compact enough and seem to be good quality. Kind of expensive but I guess it is because of the medication. I gave it to my daughter who had to go intern out in Utah. I just hope she does not have to use it.

Not well made
Because the material is so hard you have a very hard time creating a suction. Save your money do not buy. Go to an outdoor store and buy the real ones
