Will this work on plastic?

I would suggest putting down some gesso first, just like any other unprimed surface, especially if you want even coverage.

Can this be used on leather

Yes works well on leather as a "finish" or as a painted detail. Best gold paint ever.

can this be used on painted wood

Yes, it can. However, you want to first prime the wood with GAC 100. GAC 100 is a medium used for protecting against Support Induced Discoloration (S.I.D.).

can this be used for your skin?

this is not intended to use on skin. You should use body paint instead.
