Bought this to re-line the dust cover under my sofa and had just enough for my love seat, perfect! I pulled this cambric material taunt while stapling it directly over the old and frayed dust cover of my 18 year old sofa that our cat has been scratching at which is still in otherwise excellent condition since we've kept it covered for most of the time and really haven't sat in it much anyway, the short pile plush fabric still in excellent condition with almost no fading, so being able to restore the underside dust cover for cheap is a blessing! Not that anyone is going to see the underside of my sofa or loveseat, but knowing that the underside is well protected/sealed is a load off my mind. Installation tip: try to give yourself at least 1/2" long staples to secure the cambric material to the sofa and try to fold excess lengths back under itself for a cleaner and stronger edge for the staple to hold onto. I spaced my staple about 2" on center, which seems to be good, though the original liner was stapled at a much more tighter spacing, almost 1/2" on center. Having someone to help hold the fabric in place as you secure it can also make your installation a lot easier and faster!

Underside of my sofas were falling apart. This product was super easy to use!

This was easy to cut. Easy to spread out. Easy to fold the edges on the long sides. Easy to staple. All I needed to do was trim a little off either side. Seems durable. Basically perfect.

The material is very thin and tears easier than the original fabric on the bottom of my couch. It’ll do the job, you just have to be very careful.
