The cord fit well for my Singer 403A sewing machine, even though my machine only has 2 prongs and this has 3. It fits snugly, and has worked well for me. I’m glad I bought it!

The power cord that came with my vintage Singer 403 sewing machine was very frayed, so I was hoping this three hole power cord would actually work with it, like other users said it would. And it does! There is no center prong on my machine, so the center hole on the center lead does not connect to anything. Even so, it works! The first few times I connected it to the machine was a bit of a struggle to get the prongs to go in the holes, but by the 4th or 5th try everything seemed to be lining up just fine. I also bought a separate pedal that connects to a different socket on the machine, and that works too. I'm very happy to have found both these items here on Amazon.

I bought this for a 301 that I just acquired that has a frayed original cord. The picture looked the same as the original cord, so I gave it a shot. Lo and behold, it works wonderfully. If you have the Singer Centennial 301 (serial number in the first 10000) this will work for you. It will probably work on other models with the two separate cords as well, but I don't know for certain so you will have to invesigate other models for yourself. With the reasonable price and free returns, its worth a try on your vintage Singer.

I bought this in hopes it would work for a newly acquired 15-91. It is a snug fit but it works and I'm up and sewing. I also tried it on my singer 201-2. It fits it as well. I'm happy with this purchase and would purchace again.

Works perfectly

This product works for my Singer 201-2 and likely fits any of those older Singer three-prong terminals, which all were pretty much interchangeable. Do note that if your machine required a combination power cord and foot controller (pedal) then this is not what you're looking for. I had to bend the brass terminals on my Singer 201 ever so slightly to get it to fit. I cannot say whether that is a manufacturing defect on this product or if my 83 year old machine simply had slightly bent terminals, but that is part of why I'm only giving 4 stars. It functions perfectly, and certainly gives one peace of mind over original wiring that can be a major fire hazard. I would have liked if the cord more closely resembled the original wires; the juxtaposition between this new cord and a mid-20th century machine is somewhat noticeable. But it does what it's supposed to and allows me to safely (and cheaply! $9!) operate my machine!
