Press Hard
I used these recently to assemble 3/4" boards for book shelving. It took some effort to squeeze the clamps around the two pieces at each corner. Sometimes, you could get one piece involved and then struggle to get the other piece. Once in place, there is some play regarding the positioning of the pieces. The clamps give you a good starting point, but that alone may not give you the perfect final outcome. I used pocket hole screws. The driving of the screws might allow the pieces to slide. Maybe I could have used brad nails to aid in a temporary hold. On one of the clamps, I noticed that the spring had bowed away from the clamp. It may or may not work next time.

Helps quite a lot
For what I need them for they are a little hard to get on. One inch stock is what I use and need to hold corners together. That is also the largest stock that these clamps will take. Once they are on they hold very well, and you can adjust the joint a bit to get them to line up better once they ore on. Nothing else that I've tried has worked as well. As I said, they are a little hard to get on, but I guess that I can forgive that since they do a better job.

Good clamps to put frames together like it

Not worth the money
I was excited to get these and then I tried to use them. They don't open very wide so only good for small projects. The springs are so tight that I had to use my vise grip pliers to open them up. I returned mine.

Only for thin wood thicknesses
I don’t like that it does not work for 3/4” thicknesses. That is a pretty typical thickness for may projects. But for smaller wood, it works great

Smaller projects only
Smaller and less substantial than they look in photos. Good for picture frames, but not much more. They are cheap but I would invest in a stronger product.
